Hello, I'm new, I've only played 2 runs so far(excluding the tutorial), one solo (with bots) and a another with people (one who killed us very stupidly), I'm enjoying the game but don't have any one to play with. I've read the rules and its asked to not encorig others to play older rundowns, if it means r1-r7 then you can ignore my request. I'm currently at R1 RB1.

hello! if you're looking for groups you can use the LFG channels to find people to play with (though at this time of day it'll be a little slower i fear). in terms of "older rundowns" that rule is referring to the older versions of those rundowns, which cant be accessed by default. you're free to play any of the levels that you see in game, though i'd recommend starting at r1 since its a nice introduction to the game and its mechanics!

also, ask not to be carried when queuing with other players; once you hit a certain skill level in the game, you take levels at a much quicker pace than a new player, which (from your perspective) will feel like they're breezing through the level and leaving you behind

its not intentional, its just how the game plays later on

so just make sure they know that you're new and want to take it slow

if you've got any questions about game mechanics or anything, really, don't hesitate to ask! lots of knowledgable people in this server who are happy to help :3

So I just finishing watching my team’s 3rd attempt on R4C1. We died at the Tank (first time we encountered it).

Whole thing fell apart. Me and Theocog move ahead to position our shots while tank sleep. ShasXV and Saphyr move in behind us waiting for our “go”. We don’t time the doir opening with wave. Sleeper walks into room and ShasXV panics, shooting the sleeper and waking up tank. Tank attacks. Me and Theocog are now taking free damage.

I realize room is empty aside from tank and quickly mention we have to move deeper i to room to keep wave and tank on one side. Me and Theocog get into bottom level. ShasXV takes too long and gets squished between tank and wave, getting downed. Theocog and I try to plan out baiting the tank to one side of the room so we can get ShasXV back up. Meanwhile Saphyr takes data sphere to next zone door to try and leave.

We snap at Saphyr cause we need four members to activate door. I bait out tank so Theocog can get to top floor and revive ShasXV. Saphyr comes back and goes down. 2 players left. Theocog makes it to top floor and goes down to next wave (apparently he had 4% and 2% ammo going into tank encounter). I run from tank to start training, but run up into a dead end. I come back knowing it’s over and go down as both waves and tank pile on me.

What a fucking mess that encounter was for us.

While it does of course work for that, if you die at R4C1's tank, you either open the door too soon (remember, the alarm from the door spawns full waves), or fucked up the tank somehow.

You can blob a ladder to make the enemies on it freeze. Ladders have a limited amount of enemies that can interact with it at the same time, creating the situation where the ladder is effectively impossible to be used by enemies, hence they stack on it.
