and then defend and search as a whole

in 20 u can defend but its better to just shoot the scout and defend on the room divider to prevent anything and just have a better like funnel

The 2nd and 3rd alarms are very long, so the waves get very very big if you're killing them. You can make those alarms much easier by leaving shooters/giants alive and then semi-kiting the scans

Even if you're not fully capping on giants and shooters, they'll eat up a lot of the spawn cap which makes the waves smaller and more manageable

How are packs actually generated? Anyone know? seems like it is random with an element in place to assure you at least get 1 of each per zone?

The devs define how many total uses of each resource exist in each zone. For example, they might decide that Zone 275 will always contain 4 uses of med, 5 uses of ammo, and 3 uses of tool. After that, RNG decides 1) how many packs to split those uses up into (e.g. two 2 uses vs one 4 use), and 2) which rooms/boxes/lockers to put them in.
