R1A1 do be wiping that bad. Especially when you are a new player and came from other, less skill reliant cooperative games. Speaking from experience. With how little new players get in terms of adjustment to the game (which is great if you are up to the task), im amazed 10ch even did a checkpoint. Some of my friends tried GTFO and decided not to pursue it, not allowing themselves a chance to get into it.

My biggest regret is that I couldn't convince my friends that "wait, it's actually fun to sink 20 hours failing missions left and right, not even knowing what your weapons do untill you try them properly and find the one for yourself, and spending way too much time on the terminal". I can't grow new friends on trees, and lfg can be pretty hit or miss for that sort of coop heavy game

-> Three friends that are willing to spend between twenty to forty euros.
-> Three friends that are into hardcore games and recognize the possibility of failure and time being wasted.
-> Three friends that are dedicated into spending hours of their personal time into attempting difficult gameplay.
Additional point: Europeans have it worse due to language barriers. Previously, I found myself playing on American lobbies just so I can get people who speak proper English, regardless of the ping difference.

Pretty much, yeah. Your missions involve a stumbling in the dark phase and a preparation/defending phase. It's not really that in depth, you mostly shoot once the shit hits the fan. But there is good chunk of decision making involved
