Like, if you plan on olm being longer than 10 minutes or a few deaths, 3 or 4 doses per person is not a bad idea

In lfr, it's not a bad idea to save if you only have 1 room with ovls. Main reason why a lot of lfr has 2 ovl rooms so they can sip and still have 4 doses for olm

Yeah, early kcs i wouldn't be too surprised to see 10-12 minute olms and a few deaths just from accidents and mistakes stacking someone out
Learning how to prevent the damage in olm is one of the top priorities so you need less supplies, needing less time being brewed down so better dps
Speed and points aren't too important until you are consistent with everything, since dying removes a decent amount of purple chance

Theyre not specials, they're autos. Specials are only crystal spores, lightning, teleports (and healing in 3rd phase). Just practice moving in a 3x3 square and youll be good

if you have shadow then bowfa loses a lot of its power within cm, mostly a Vasa weapon at that point. depending on gear bp may still outdo bowfa against Vasa I think

Okay, I think I get it now, even though the video made it a bit confusing for me at first.
In the video, Olm starts in mage set and then gets forced into melee set.
You can tell this because Olm turns its head away from mage towards melee, and at that exact moment the special attack happens.
Is that correct?

you’re either dragging your clicks/switches or are performing other actions that cancel the ones you’re intending to do. if you click a boss then eat a piece of food i.e. you’ll stop attacking and have to click again to start attacking. it is unlikely to be server side unless it’s in a very specific scenario and others have be complaining about it too. it’s unfortunately most likely a skill issue on ur part.

p3 mage skipping is no different to other phases. assuming trio if olms firing two autos at melee instead of turning to mage side it means his previous attack wasn’t able to fire off as he had no one to look at (it would be you who messed up as you jumped over too early). this shouldn’t actually cancel his set though if you’ve set it correctly and you can continue when he’s caught up in his attack cycle. If it keeps happening You’ve either not set it correctly or keep moving over too early to where you’re not tanking his second auto in the cycle.

so here's a Kephri kill for me (attempt). my strategy is i try to do the melee/range scarab trap. if that doesn't work i prioritize killing the range scarab while praying melee. when mager spawns, i immediately try to kill it. usually i'm unable to before it flies away and (i think?) it's hitting me the it's charged mage attack but i really have no idea. i read i should prioritize killing the swarms with a BP over the scarabs so the shield recovers less, but feels like a) i'm either praying incorrectly because i take major damage or b) not killing the scarabs in the correct order/fast enough. i'll upload the attempt but you don
t have to reallt watch it if you don't want cuz that's whats going wrong for me during the kill. any tips?

The melee should be trapped. You procced ovls too fast to allow trapping. You didn't lower the melee ovl hp (or kill it so it wasn't hitting you), allowing it to constantly heal kephri. You ignored the 2nd ranger actively killing you. You were pathing poorly causing you to lose uptime. You naturally lost uptime throughout the fight from inexperience. You got hit by kephris attacks. Your focus is on things that aren't important.
Lower the invos and learn the raid. Add invos as you learn the raid.
Follow advice from people in the toa channels, they have better experience than I do.

WDR gear reqs are quite modest, typically achievable with < 50m budget
but if that's a lot for you then yeah you're probably not raids ready yet, lots of decent solo content to grind in the meanwhile though

there is, of course, no reason not to max def as well, just that you don't have to prioritize it at all
