if you timed it right then Olm will not attack you at all as you move from melee hand side to past neck

idk I personally learned the timing from doing enough team raids to know when Olm turns his head by feel

yeah you should be able to time your actions at the same time as olm if you want to be able to solo. either learn in teams or go sit there for hours until you get it

getting into mage cycle is predictive timing, not reactive. you have to know when its coming and time yourself in advance

this timing is used in most other methods too so if you don't have a feel for it you won't get far

a decent run with tier 1 prep and two tier 3 weapons, as you would do any other cg, can be well below GM time

if redemption is useful anywhere it's regular gauntlet time which is more RNG than CG. but still not required
