Hello, I have an ironman friend that I would like to take into raids here however I'm not sure as he doesn't have some of the requirements but has better gear in certain areas. for example. Would it be okay if he has RCB and no dboots and instead of DCB but has rigour, blood moon, etc. as rcb is higher dps with rigour than dcb with eagle eye and the blood moon setup is higher dps aswell in relevant scenarios

Okay so how defense works is that wne things are higher defense (i.e. tekton / olm hand) you want to send a DWH/Maul first. Since it lowers defense more and is more accurate
after 2-3 hammers you want to BGS

In the simulator I ran to the east side of pillar and tried to nuke the meleer and bat which seems to have worked, but is there a more effective way, like luring the mager closer and then focusing on it down before meleer digs?

you don't need to know how to set olm to be in #lfr-cox-scaled but it's highly recommended

My advice has always been to not touch scaled raids until you know how to set olm very quickly. And more importantly, how to fix an un-set olm head

iirc skipping isnt a requirement for scaled but heavily encouraged. people can ask for skippers, and if you join wihtout knowing how to, that might result in a report

Toa can be learnt through 0 invocation solo's. People however don't want to do those because "muh purple chance". It takes like an hour to learn most basic mechanics. After that just send regulars
