so if we say crossbow bis, what we actually mean is crossbow high hp swap to other range weapon at lower hp

if you own bofa, then that means only olm is worth crossbowing. and olm has such high hp that your hitting max ruby proc for 90% of the fight, and the bofa isnt worth bringing for the 10% of headphase
