Yeah I lost the Dilo you met to a pack of four. I killed two before dying, then I grew a new one and spent my whole life running around the map having to dodge big carno packs seemingly everywhere I went while just trying to grow.

When I got to full grown tho. I got into 1v1s and killed two more Carnos.

One during the day - a good fight, and it 1 called for help when it's first attacks/initial attack missed but no one came so I returned to fight. I respect them for staying and fighting though without any aid or when it was obvious it wasn't going too well.

One during the night - lad got slaughtered by clones, why he decided to come at me during the night is beyond me, his intital attack went really well cause I made a mistake thinking he would turn more in prediction where I was going. He ended up being bitten and left to fight clones while I calmly ate a boar and healed like all the damage he dealt before coming in to finish him personally XD

Tbh. I felt like that fight just showed me Dilo is way too busted at night tbh.

Cause to call it a fight would ignore the fact they spent most of it being brutalized by clones and only ended up actually fighting me a bit by the end, and I don't think they even dropped out of the venom stage for clones.

I feel like Dilo doesn't even really need the buff it gets from venom during the night. It seems effective enough as is during the day.

Yeah it definitely got old/annoying when I was trying to grow having to constantly dart around just to get food/diet so I could grow, and then even when I would avoid them to a new area I would just find more.

Yeah that's the norm to be fair tho... and they're slow so, much easier for most dinos even when young to just play around and avoid.

A big group of carnos doesn't leave much room in that regard with their speed.

basically, it's probably a lot healthier for the game the normal is lots of ceras then carnos.

The basic premise is to go on top of stuff like structures or rocks. The type of stuff that isn't basically just flat ground/easy to walk over as the clones are very dumb with only basic pathing/movement.

Dinos that can jump for example can very easily avoid them due to this since the clones can't jump either obviously.

Yeah you can outrun a cera with most dinos which is what i like

Their charged bite is so overpowered and spammable and needs a big stamina drain but Atleast you can run

Technically instantly, it's just the longer it's held the more it charges up for more damage, so when starting it's basically no extra damage but there's also no punishment really for holding besides some recent changes (stam lose when running I believe and I think slightly slower?), either way it's still spammable as hell

I also believe they removed it not self-cancelling tho after being held for too long.

I haven't played much Cera myself since the Trike update to get an idea of exactly what they did.

Had to hard log to fix it as I couldn't rest to safelog

ok so theres like a pit of doom to the side of the cliff

you need to wiggle your way toward the pit of doom that looks void like and continue falling for about 5-10 min you'll eventually hit the bottom of the map and die of fall dmg

i found out the hard way exploring it takes a bit of finicky movement its easier if ur a dino with a jump

because the opening to the void is quite small

quite often the bottom of the map is just water, so you may have to commit an extra 10-20 mins of pathetic swimming until you drown
