The only dino that can compare in pure stats is the Deino (croc), but it's obviously very limited unless in the water... A full grown stego can not be grabbed from land by a croc and is the only dino that can boast that

its just for food. those dots/eyes are Patrol Zone = PZ. it appears for a bit then disappears then appears again - any food within it/in nearby areas will become diet for you and your group to eat! if you move locations and it doesnt follow you, you can leave group, make sure you have NO pz, then add them to group and it should respawn after a few minutes

AI can't get to certain places.

So even when it does work. It may appear to not be simply because the other player has gone somewhere the AI can't path or physically get to (like on top of a rock that you need to jump to get on)

Sometimes you just get unlucky with croc, but tbh starvation for me is never the issue when I play croc. It's just a annoyance to work around.
