not 100% why theyd do that either but since stam changes it costs so much to stay attached as raptor anyways so its not extremely terrible, but remember you can run the raptor into terrain to hit them off and itll stun them on the ground often leading to a free kill.

stego cannot swing when a troodon is pounced, troodon can't be easily knocked off via foliage since it only has to pounce for a second and is so small, and stegos night vision is basically nothing so it can't even see them coming when they're hunting at night.
stego has to use water or land some incredibly lucky hits, that's it, that's all it can do.

the strat is to have 3 or more troodons, get the stego to stage 3, have one troodon stay latched to prevent swings and then just take turns pouncing on and off doing 75 damage a pounce - one troodon can even stay on the ground behind the stego biting it during this time.

Yeah the new migration system basically makes it so you kinda have to be in a migration zone to find food as a herbie. It allows carnivores to hunt larger herds etc. But cool tip u can graze on grass which fills ur hunger BUT only under a certain threshold

i dont think spiro was better, the population was basically spead across 2-3 areas of the map. a map which i dont think could have supported migrations. not to mention it seems like gateway is built with future content in mind... i am sure the map will get added too or changed

gateway map is good, no issues with that. My issues are with other gameplay changes (stamina recovery rate/lack of food spawns)
