Well, do you consider the fact the game is under "active" development and isnt classified as finished product? This game isnt by any means in a state were lets say, shielding it from hackers is a huge priority. I THINK like.. build it to a more stable and finished state is higher. In-game, they are tiny two-legged herbs which can climb trees/rocks, spit acid, and are super fast. They also grow fast from juvie to adulthood - I haven’t timed it, but feel like I can get from spawn to nest in solidly less than an hour.

Their short lifespan does mean that getting prime can be tricky as you don’t have the time to traverse great distances so you have to think about it. But, they’re burn fast burn bright, so tbh not worth fighting for prime

Like dryos, you’ll pretty much never encounter another of your species in the wild - but due to being small, nonthreatening, and adorable, other dinos will sometimes adopt you as a companion.

Unlike dryos, you don’t ever resemble a baby carni, so any bullying you receive from other herbs is strictly them choosing to bully you and not a case of mistaken identity.

I try a little of everything, but I main hypsi and dryo depending on the day. Big fan of Overlooked Lil Guys™️ and since it’s not even slightly meta, I don’t feel any pressure to compete on the metaphorical ladder. Just survival and vibes.

A lot of dinos (if not all) can nest as soon as they hit 50%. If you wait till 75 your babies will have a higher chance of getting more mutations from you basically.

If you've got all the water mutations (water from food, water from rain and slow water drain) those island off the coast are rather good, aside from that there's some large rock formstions that are tall enough they can't be climbed from the ground near the plains

Aye, it's such a nice game to just relax and meet people with, was rather unexpected for me when I started as I was expecting it to be a murderfest, was very happily wrong on that.
Another chill dino to play is hypsi, most players won't attack you (though some still will so don't just go running up to everyone) and you can be a total menace too with the spit mechanic if you wish with em
Troodon is also pretty good for a more laid back experience but you'll still get a little fight here and there giving that troo is a carni

yeah the hypsi was my first dino, i actually played it a lot but got tired of just dying to starvation because i couldnt find any food in the sanctuary no matter where i looked, so now im just playing ptero or whatever its called (its funny seeing people try to catch me but fail miserably) i also understand how to get every food i need for my diet and i have like a 90% growth rate. not to menton spear catching and gliding is pretty relaxing

Humans are a big part of the world building of the game, from what I understand they where ment to be the first things in the game before even the dinos where added, but there where complications getting them working. They WILL be added in, we just don't know when. Though as of recently we have seen the human structures get more detail and things in them, as well as vehicles being updated, so it's clearly being worked on

They've added in medical and surgery bays, sleeping quarters, gun lockers and iv seen things added in that look like you'd have to maintain them (power boxes, broadcast towers, storage banks thst sort of thing) so it seems like they'll have a lot to do

Tanks and armoured vehicles wouldn't really make sense, nor be fair to the dinos. You must understand humans on the island would be there likley as employees of AE, the ones who made the dinosaurs, and thus insentivising humans into killing them all wouldn't make sense.

i think they could expand the map a lot and even add a smaller island far away from the main one which the humans inhabited with stuff like docks and vehicles, all of the usual stuff. i think a territory map related to the event thing would show what the humans own and what the dinos own for example if the humans own a section, they could spawn in there

Mhmm, humans being added shouldn't turn the game into a humans v dino game, as its ruin the game play of the dinos. But having the ability for dinos to break into unprotected outposts or damage shipments would be good, as that would make it so the humans have to be careful and use things wisely. We also don't wanna have people running around gunning all the dinos down so that would have to be prevented somehow. But imagine this, you are out with two others on a supply run, only to have a pack of raptors hit your truck, they damage some of the boxes before you shoot at them and they flee, the attack having damaged your food supply your team are now forced to ration and head out into dino territory to pick fruit to supplement your lost supplies, which then makes you vulnerable.

Though i think having humans be doing research and maintance around the island would make the most sense, having to survive out there.to complete thier tasks. Keeping comms towers running so they can talk to the other outposts on the island from thier terminals and phones, keeping the power grid running so thier electric fences work to keep dinos out of thier spaces, visiting death sites to take samples from the dinos, stuff like that

i think an idea that would maybeee work because mostly everyone who plays the game is in the discord is the humans having their own server for these divisions, like people who can set up outposts but would take a lot of time to do so, like a group of people who have different roles in doing so, like the people who terraform the spot around it so walls can be built by the other ones and once the walls are done the insides are built with beds and armories and maybe just maybe having some small applications and training to understand the process of doing so. but the other groups like simple human roles dont need anything (idk if this would fit in the game or not but i think it would be a good way of making outposts by humans and not letting randoms who bought the game yesterday ruin everything)

Well thing is there are human out posts in most regions of the map, only one thwt dosnt have one is swamp (that iv been able to find anyway) and a lot of them have electric fencing around them, spotlights and the like. So that would be your spawn and work area

And you need only look at all the changes over the last 2 years, watching old footage the game has changed so much since then. If they didn't increase the server side it'd be a problem, I'd say adding at least an extra 50 to the current cap would be needed otherwise places will just repopulate. Personally I'd want a new server cap of around 175/200 when humans are in
