For their rules you gotta join a discord server. But a general rule of thumb low rules is no herbi Vs herbi violence and no mutlipacking unless you are a herbi and no canabalism unless your Dino is a cannibal. And storage wise you can store many dinos on the server to switch and play but you need to join the specific servers discord and link your account with their bot for that to work.

currently online (as of 3//31/36 4PM EST) seems to be
US13, EU4, US1, US3, AU3. They're full tho so I haven't been able to get in any.

If you're trying to get to a dino on a diff server, honestly I would just wait a few days and give them some time to work out this batch of bugs. Esp cause some ppl's save data seems to be having problems, so if it'd be upsetting to lose a dino you grew to max or anything, I'd just wait a while and check back in. They've been working on it for a few days so it's def a known issue, players just need to be patient at this point. #announcements

Edit: Various players on various servers are reporting bugs with diet, mutations, growth, etc. As stated above, you may want to just give it a few days before jumping back in to give the devs a chance to work on the fixes.

Also, a disclaimer, I just play the game, I'm not a mod. Check official channels for up to date info. Please don't yell at the mods due to the server bugs and whatnot. It's not their fault and yelling at them won't make the game playable faster.

But the rex is a difficult Apex to grow, and not many people are waiting for animations specifically for it. People are more interested in new, easy-to-grow dinos. Depends, I'd say if you can, hatch in if eggs are available, that way you'll have a group to help, if not then it's up to how you'd like to play.

I'd say something like a raptor or maybe a troodon could be good for starting out on the carni route, deino can always be quite good but can be a very big challange for the first few hours. If you want a big carni then Carno is a solid choice

As for herbs, id say teno or stego is a decent all rounder.

If you're instead looking to have a fun and explore, not to bothered about dieing often, the hypsi, bepi and PT are good for that

Most of the issues currently have been caused by the servers being overworked due to the game growing much faster then nornal, the devs are aware of the problems and to thier credit have been working on getting everything up and running again. Most servers are back up and playable with systems working fine, though a few are still having problems. If you find issues report them in the appropriate channels so they are made aware of, and thus able too, fix them.

Aye, that bug has been mostly fixed of thr past couple of days, servers with "gateway" next to thier name won't have the no ai problem, those without it do. Most are running as normal now thankfully

Blood on the screen will go away once your health is back to the max ; while it's there it means your health is still not at 100 BUT you're not bleeding / wounded anymore and can still live your dino life 😉

They can only smell fresh blood and footsteps, they cannot smell you out randomly. Footsteps disappear after a while and the blood drops staying forever are a bug, but the ability to smell them also disappears like footsteps

Dinos make noise when sitting down and depending on your size it can be louder or quieter, so if someone passes by and hears you then they might investigate
