One of the main issues is that cheats are generally specific to that specific game. A no clip or ESP in the Isle won't work the same as one in say, Overwatch. The very same goes for methods to prevent it.

That is not what's happening. The rules are clear, and warnings have been given over spreading misinformation and discouraging people from making reports. If they're ignored, the same happens as with any rule break- you get timed out or banned as needed.

We do grows in cases 9f cheating when evidence is given, but we do not hold them for players nor are they a guarantee. All reports are handled as soon as we can get to them, but that does not mean you will get a response from us.

You CANNOT post the name, skin, or location of any player, including cheaters. That makes our job harder. This has been said many times- this is a public discord anyone can join and see. All you do is make it harder for us to catch the player, because if you do that, they can see it and know they in specific were reported.

No that is not how it has been working. Like I said I have tried several times to make reports to admins right after the replay has loaded. I have never received a regrow. You will take time to penalise us for 'breaking rules' (location dropping cheaters), but not to listen to reports. What am I missing here?

Again, a grow is NOT a guarantee. Never has been, never will be. Just because someone is cheating in game does not mean discord rules stop applying either- ANYONE who breaks the rules is subject to the same consequences of them regardless of what is happening.

Not all reports are a result of cheating, primarily. There's a lot of issues of players not understanding the game mechanics, or due to the game being early access, encountering a bug. Some cases this does look like cheating, such as a current bug with cerato when it gets knocked down- it looks very similar to what we call an agility cheat, but actually isn't.

Sometimes, evidence given to us also just doesn't show the cheating in order for us to verify it as a genuine report. It may have happened off screen, be taken after the fact, or with many recordings (somehow) be too poor quality for us to even see what's going on.

well. i tried deino for few days in a row. all starved and baby crocs dont fill. So its unplayable to be fg. To many little ponds so dinos dont drink in rivers. No elite fish to atleast fill a little to get more time before dinos appear.

One thing that must be remembered: This is a video game. We cannot and will not allow witch hunts and harassment of others, regardless of the situation. Putting people on blast in a community as large as this, over pixel dinosaurs, is frankly ridiculous and does actual harm to real people, unlike dying in a video game.

We will not disclose action against others, tell you who is banned, or why or why not. ANY server that does so you should take as a massive red flag.

Not saying to out who exactly has been hacked, but disclosing that people ARE getting hacked with actual statistical evidence might inform people that they're not being ignored. If somebody comes onto a game where people sink hours of their free time and pay with their hard earned money to play the game are killed by somebody who is using cheats and exploits to dampen their fun and commitment, they deserve to be slated and insulted. Shortening people's valid frustrations down to, "Pixel dinosaurs" is crazy work.

Unfortunately anything that gives any indication we are removing cheaters has a high likliehood of making it harder on us to catch them. Even us just talking in the discord makes it more likely for them to log out, server hop, or name change so its harder on us finding them. There's also this as an issue: If we followed up on every report or did something like this, that's taking time away from us actually removing the cheaters that are the problem.

If we had a better solution, it'd flat out stupid of us to not be using it.

I just think its a shame that I feel like I need to think about which servers I play on ( for example I avoid EU4 ) because of the hackers, that I felt the need to put on nvidia replay and is just filling up my folders with f2 replays, cause u never know who is a hacker so u need to record every single one walking by you, also making sure to bring up tab now and then to prove which server u were on, and then even after that, not even getting a guaranteed regrow of the trike u spent 10 hours growing just puts u down a lot, it makes u not want to play the game anymore. This is just my experience, and I think its a shame

If you never been an admin you don't know how hard it can be to detect cheaters. Cheats get better by the minute. Hell, i once was stuck and started gliding all over the place. So, obvious cheats like instant kills etc.. are easy, cheats like ESP, little more damage, little speed cheats, cheats that auto detect admins watching, its all there.

Solely server bans are for misuse of the chat. Cheaters get their account game banned. Thing is, it's an arms race, and cheaters are always working to try and find methods around it.

Unfortunately we can't even get the majority of players to read the rules, nevermind what channel they're in. The more steps we make to fill a report, the less people actually will do it. People will ping us in these channels regardless for cheat reports, so it's the system we're keeping to.

If we get a better method, for sure we're going to implement it, given that's the whole point of taking reports.
