There's nothing a Discord Moderator can do for you on the servers when they are purely only able to moderate the discord.

On the actual ingame servers they are just another player. Eventually, they will end up as a Official that's how it works usually, but until then they can't aid you. So ofcourse they are gonna enforce discord rules if you break them, regardless if its a cheater report or not.

It's easy to see which cheats the game is weaker to and to write a game code to ban the use of these cheats, but no, we'll just do whatever we want - non-physical textures, flying bushes, three layers of water, the crunch of chips in the bushes, changing the cry of the trike for the hundredth time... but Drio will still be missing its main mechanic - burrowing.

I've been following the game's development since its release (I pre-ordered it), and I'm very disappointed that in 10 years, they haven't developed the game into something worth the money. Even on the Spiro map, the environment, textures, and rivers were more alive than the Getway.

They are being banned, it's just that they can get around it fairly easily and nobody is getting feedback on if they were banned. So from our point of view it's just the same guy with no response from admins. Which is fun from both sides!

Mods get yelled at when they've done their job, and community gets mad because they think they haven't, and cheaters just glide through it all. Fun times!

ye there will always be cheaters. we can't change that but the way they handle all this stuff can be changed. mods do it in their freetime they don't get money for it. there was a mod that actually did something. i know that the mod did something cause it was the only mod that regrew my dino and even if they did not i still got a little thumbs up so i knew that the banhammer has been used. mod is gone now and we back to playing the guessin game. it is not the mods fault. the way they need to handle the stuff is just sooo weird.

imagine being one of the few volunteer admins though, and coming back to a ticket box of 40% people reporting laggy dibbles, 30% people rage reporting, and (very gracious) 30% legit reports of actual cheaters.
you've just spent a bunch of time sorting tickets and by that time the cheater knows anyway they probably been reported and will log off anyway or people simply do not respond to their tickets etc.
no matter what software you use someone will find a way past it, and people can only do so much.
Thats not to say the situation cant be improved

They didnt "fix" it, there was a bug patch after the last update where you can see ai and now it acts normal, except it cannot be herded anymore because it runs in random directions, they also changed the ai sounds so pigs scream and deer sound like chainsaws

All the ai has been moved from its usual spawn points and now its mostly found in forested areas

If yopu ware HErbivore, you will find food from migration zones and patrol zones (press Q to sniff, migration zone is the one with little feet, and patrol zone one with the "eyes"). also pressing Q u will also see stream going upward, thats north and downward is south. If you are Carni, you need to learn how Ai food makes sound and learn to stalk and kill it. boars kinda scream, and deer sound like chainsaw XD

and you have stamina , food and water icons. Dont use all of ur stamina, it might save your life. Walk rather than run, if you can. Laying down replenishes stamina (press H to do so).
U also have Nightvision, press X to turn it on. some dinos have better Nv than others.
and pressing tab you will see your dinos info.
