Can someone explain to me the rotation of “preferred foods”?
Every time I want to travel to a different place, my food rotates to the other place I've almost been to.
I only come here to replenish my special meal, and it's frustrating to be sent back and forth without success.

So if you sniff you'll see feet patterns indicating how close you are, that's the 'migration zone'. The nose symbol is the 'patrol zone'. You're more likely to find food in migration zone than patrol zone, but patrol has food too.

You don't seem to have understood my question correctly
when you press TAB, you see a list of your preferred foods
and it feels like it changes every 5 minutes, so it's not worth traveling from point A to point B.

I already know the map well and I also have the map, I know where most of the foods are, but when the favorite food in the list changes quickly so that the food doesn't show 3 dots, 2 lines or the S but just the leaf, I just can't fill up my 3 special foods.

Oh, it changes with the migration zone. If you're not in a food zone, you'll only get leaves.

Okay, that would be news to me that that's really the reason.
I won't deny it, but I've noticed that the food is often out of the zone and that it changes quickly, that's only the case today for example, but otherwise I don't have any problems when I'm out of the zone.

I will keep an eye on it.

For me, the list in the menu of preferred foods is worth more than the icons when sniffing, but I've never paid that much attention, thanks for the tip.
