the anticheat we have does indeed work, unfortunately its, like all anticheats, a static net. it prevents the vast majority of low effort cheaters. and the ones who are more dedicated to cheating just get the tools to cut through it

If You'd like to experience the game with less cheaters, then i would recommend one of the community servers. we do what we can. we ban many cheaters every day. can we catch all of them? no. Especially not when we have to deal with people complaining about it instead. If in a perfect world we would catch them the second we log on. instead it can take hours to catch even one

Both are. You need to be able to make a proper report for teh hacker to be looked into when an admin is available. Not all admins have discord on fullscreen, staring at it for someone to make a post.
Hackers are idiot children with nothing better to do with their lives and we want them out as well, but not tagging means we will not see the report

they do deepdive when you apply. so its possible they found something they didnt like (they as in senior admins), or, because you need to be in this type of work, were picky about your application

I say that it is better to find three people who are interested in supporting the project, and not to keep 100 admins who are always busy and are not actually present in the game to control the gameplay. When was the last time any of your admins played the game themselves and met with cheaters only to ban them immediately? If you are not on the server - you voluntarily give up the opportunity to be an admin in reality and not on paper

It’s called a Patrol Zone, these are more custom to your dino and there are a lot more of these around the map than migration. They do not last as long as a typical regular migration would and are still a tab bit buggy at times 🙂 I recommend not to pick any of the food up at these zones, just eat them straight away others the food with get stuck in your mouth 🙂

As it stands, most community servers have 10 or so admins spread across 2-4 servers. we may have double the admins but 5-10X the servers. which makes it difficult for us to catch everyone. trust me, no one likes cheaters, including us. we try our best to get them but it does take a LOT of time to catch cheaters. its not as simple as "hop on click ban" we need enough evidence for a ban as we dont want to just ban random players. community servers also dont quite have that issue. they can technically ban whoever they want for whatever reason. We on the other hand need concrete proof.
