Select the "default public branch" and it will install legacy back if you've changed to one of the other branches.

What exactly are you looking for?
Asura has universal grouping, Pachy bonebreak, and Anky bonebreak. It allows snow map, glow skins, yada yada. No gameplay rules like body down and that type of nonsense, but it still has other types of rules(chat rules, yada yada)
But it also unfortunately allows stuff like gamma/reshade, extended NV, extended FOV, no foliage... Stuff that makes playing extremely pointless.

Noobz has rules and I think they allow some mods not not sure what they have/is allowed as I don't play on rule servers lol.

Asura is pretty popular, yes. They have a grow only server(so can't buy adults unless have an event point, but can still request juvis for free), they have a buy server, and Deathmatch.
During peak hours, both of the main ones can be at capacity of 150/150, with DM not so much but still popular.

Asura would also be a nightmare for solo/duos as there is no pack limits and mix packing is allowed. Although, some people can manage it just fine.

There are no gameplay rules on Asura. No body down, no 3 calling before fighting, you can 3rd party all you want. Wanna kill a juvi? Kill it. Lol.

Legacy servers are the OG version of the game. The default version when you first install the Isle.
It was abandoned years ago so there's only unofficial servers.

At this point it's basically a whole different game lol

It’s EU 1 make sure the EU is capitalized and you have a space between the EU and the 1 so it should be EU 1 also refresh it a lot until the server pops up

yes, with "B". I understand that this does not work with all dinosaurs but I'm not sure... sometimes it wont let you make a nest despite your dinosaur beeing able to do so, try finding flat ground and spam biting and rightclicking at the wanted-nest-site, that usually fices it for me.

this is unrelated but- why is my legacy not working?

Allow me to explain, whenever I log into a server my dinosaur can only look up and down (can't turn my head) I can't smell or use night vision, I cant see chat or even make the chat sound (f), And I'm aware that it might be something wrong with my computer (don't say graphics, I have a gaming computer.).

If you are having trouble moving/typing/generally cannot do anything in the game. This may help!

Step ONE:
Go ahead and close your game, once that is done then go to %localappdata%\TheIsle\Saved\Config\WindowsClient in your File Explorer/Manager and rename the file labeled "input" to "input2."

If step one doesn't work
If this still does not work then you will need to verify your files.

If step TWO doesn't work
Head to %localappdata% - the isle - delete the "saved" folder - This will delete your settings and any recordings you have BUT it will not delete your dino, make sure to turn on auto recording after doing this step.

I don’t see majority of players switching to Evrima. As I stated in General Feedback, Legacy is the foundation of the game. You remove the foundation and it falls. Got to think Legacy has been around forever and not all want to move to Evrima. When my legacy server has issues the players don’t flock to my Evrima server. They go to other games.

Majority of the isle player base is built around legacy.

So you remove legacy, you remove mass amounts of players.

Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > TheIsle > delete the "Saved" folder.

Tried playing evrima last night, I died 5 times due to the same glitch with ptera, where if you jump a certain way (it's moody when it does) you can't fly at all. Died 3 times to a drink trying to fix it, and twice to Utahs because I couldn't get away

Try adjusting your search filters, such as the maximum number of results. You might also need tk adjust the max pings/minute setting in steam

Yeah, tick hide empty and refresh first of all.

It seems that Steam will try to show servers closer to you. Alternatively, you can use a VPN if you have one. Can’t see any servers? Try checking your Firewall and if it’s doing anything with The Isle. The best thing to do is to add a firewall exclusion for The Isle's folder located within your steamapps directory
Open Steam
Select “STEAM” on the upper left corner
Go to Settings > in-game
Increase the “In-Game Server Browser: Max Pings / minute” value and see if it helps..

when joining a popular server they will send you a message when you load in, for example, when you join a server for example Asura ( a one of the popular servers ) a message will pop up with the discord link. Then you want to copy and paste the discord given to you and then in the discord you have to go to dino request or dino buys. if you need help go to the help section in the discord (note that this discord has to be the spicific discord for the server) then you request a non survival dino as juvi or buy it as an adult ( this will cost money to buy as an adult) non survivals must be requested or you have to buy them) on asura you can enter theyre website then put in the dino you want. The instructions should be in the discords on how to do it so read that first.

Legacy is more enjoyable because of the many options of Dinos you can pick from including sandbox dinos. But fixing Legacy isn't in their things to do list. Eventually Legacy will be removed, due to its Spaghetti Code. Fix a Stego's sniff and it destroys the weather system. No matter what they fix, because of how it's coded. Something will break.
