in all seriousness tho the film franchise missed the whole horror/cursed factor thing with the amphibian DNA thing.

It had the potential to make way for cursed shit, but instead we have dinosaurs stuck in the 1980s (and prior) instead of either accuracy or exploiting the genetic modification thing cleverly (and really the only creative thing done with it was the whole "dinosaurs changing gender to breed" thing)

I mean yeah the cursed amphibian thing would cause significant public confusion or backlash if not explained, but really many designs arent that great (the triceratops, the raptors and a good chunk of the JW roster)
