I dont know. I think pot has some cool stuff in it and its way more stable than the isle. I would say if the combat would be more advanced, it would be a better game than the isle. But currently I dont play neither PoT and Isle. Its a waiting game

Quests are boring.

Carcasses/meat chunks and food carry is thousand times better than the Isle one. And actually works.

Skins are okay, models are okay, sounds are bad (except a few)

Map is a bit boring and huge. Still more enjoyable than garbage spiro tho.

i want to say what i think about...
Born as a player and fan of The isle, with the release of the Path of titans growth patch, I decided to give it a try and give it a chance.
Result, I have decided to uninstall The isle until the "right" patch arrives.
It is true that PoT quests are boring but, they give you "something" to do to grow, and while you are in the game .. this leads you to have to contend for territories with other dinosaurs.
On The isle, on the other hand, I didn't appreciate this sense of "duty", because it becomes boring not to do that "something" because that sense of hunting that the developers want to give to the game does not exist yet.

This concerns the "emotional" and subjective sector, as far as the technical sector is concerned, you are right, both are "undergoing eternal development" by now this is the new frontier of non-AAA games

I enjoy dsunga:( tbh the majority of the jwe2 pterosaurs I find bland or just bad, but I enjoy the dsunga, dimorphodon, and maaradactylus

Besides dsunga those two are the only pterosaurs who's wings actually connect properly to the legs instead of ending at the waist, and also their wings don't fold and crinkle like a child's toy with cloth membrane in flight

Dsunga has the same issue of "wing membrane that doesn't extend to the knee" but it's flight animation is smooth and it's wings also don't suffer wrinkles
