• Introduce new thing
• new bugs to fix
• fix critical bugs
• introduce more new things
• continue to fix bugs

The point being, with every new addition or change to the game there is potential for new bugs so you fix them as you go. It would be a waste of time to 100% fix bugs before moving to any new content or mechanics as bugs are inevitable and being bug free is a endgame goal. You fix as many as you can along the way

Indie game studios don't have the luxury of being multi million dollar companies thus they must scale their business accordingly. If you scale up too fast without the resources you have no more money and thus no more game

Yes. Breeders sell them with cropped ears and a docked tail in America. The breeders in the U.S. that sell them with floppy ears and a long tail are only backyard breeders and puppy mills. A floppy eared doberman is a bad sign in the USA

The reputable breeders here will only send a doberman puppy home with its ears and tail already done. Usually at 12 weeks old. It will clearly say "non-negotiable" or "no exceptions" to that rule. It's the breed standard here. Byb and puppy mills don't sell long tailed or floppy eared dobermans because they'd have to pay a vet to do it and it cuts into their profits

Ah yeah. That's how dobermans were originally created. The tails were docked and the ears were cropped because a long tail and floppy ears were hand holds for human and animal attackers. The doberman was originally created in Germany to be a tax collector's dog. When he would go to the sketchy parts of town to collect taxes, carrying large amounts of money, he kept dobermans to protect him. So he wanted the dogs to have the best chance possible of defending against robbers. No ears and no tail was for defense.

The standard has been dropped in Europe, now they tape the ears down to get it to frame the face nicely like a lab's (doberman ears are not naturally perfectly floppy, they go outward and down and look weird).

U.S. breeders just kept that look to preserve its origins. And very few Americans know dobermans have floppy ears and long tails. They look at them and say "nice coon hound. He's skinny though. Feed him more."

A cropped/docked doberman is a better deterrent here.

to promote themself, or for fun, to share, etc

@rough hollow some artists as they gain a bigger following will do that if they notice many people using their art without permission, or reposting it and pretending to be them
