This of course ignores the actual bad armor design the lannisters have, I have faith they could’ve made the armor have a more realistic shape even with plastic.

I think the worse offender of bad armor design, especially in earlier seasons is the armor worn by Gregor Clegane.

The shoulderpads are ridiculously oversized, the helmet has no holes for breathing, his coat of plates hangs way too low, etc.

I’d make an argument that Loras has the best armor in GoT period. It’s very fancy and fantastical but still has a historical aesthetic to it.
