Btw if any of you decide to play carno.
You can pretty consistently bait Austros into attacking you by 4 calling a group and trot/running away. If they are a big enough group they'll probably try to chase you.

Let them pounce you, take a ton of hits without really fighting back... then just turn around and maul them.

Works pretty consistently and you can often kill them before theyve realized the mistake they've made. Very few Austros have escaped me, both used rocks.

EAC doesn't do any cheat monitoring within the game itself, it's just a program that runs in the background to check for things like cheat engines, file modification, etc.

All anticheat measures you actually see in game need to be done by the developers, by hand. Things like preventing damage or speed exploits are done by adding in server integrity checks. This goes for every single game ever.

Most of the time, EAC being bad comes down to the workarounds for it being known, and irregularly patched, and most developers just throwing EAC, VAC, or Battleye into their games without putting in the necessary work within the game itself.

The Isle in particular has been getting a lot better with their anticheat measures, and that is certainly no thanks to EAC, but the lack of anticheat measures previously were not because of EAC either.

Changing EAC out for one of its many alternatives just wouldn't fix the problem. The only way to see real improvement over EAC would be from them developing their own anticheat program in house and that just isn't viable.
