Giga is hard to say, iirc it was larger than Rex in legacy (if they wanna keep to that), Rex is 9,300kg and given Theri is (roughly) around 5T, that’s almost reaching double its weight class

Though if they decide to upsize Theri maybe it would be a much better outcome if you have to fight

First head to sanctuary and try and find diet along the way so u have some built up. After that all you have to do is get the migration zones, don’t cannibalize, don’t let all diets go to 0, get perfect diet. For the migration zones use the Vulnona map to find them. I always try to hit 3 just to be safe. Also even if you cant smell it still go there because it is probably still active for other players (even if u can’t smell it it will still count if u pass through it). After that find a taco to eat for Y diet, then deer and pig will give u A and B for perfect diet.

If giga is the same height as rex it will likely weigh less so theres potential for it to be brawled
Spino you can just not approach or let approach

That prime carno had a rough time with ping and two mixpacking tenos

It is extremely frustrating to spend days and hours growing a dinosaur only to die to a hacker. What makes it even worse is when that hacker gets reported and the report is pushed aside, making it feel like hacking actually pays off since they are rarely punished and F2 don't works.

Meanwhile, the players who genuinely participate and help keep the community alive are the ones left frustrated and losing progress. I made a report, I was never called into DM, my dino was not returned, and the hacker is still killing players on EU2.

This is frustrating, and yes, this is also a vent about how administration handles hackers in Hordetest.

The only advice I can give you is to play on unofficial servers that have good moderation. Makes the experience so much better. I only come out from playing unofficial to play Hordetest (like a dummy) and then I go back to unofficials again. Fair xD The dilos had been sitting with the tenos when I arrived in the area. The dilos ran to attack the cera, and the tenos came at me. They kept kicking me while I was in front of them, so I started to back off, then the pachy and one of the tenos went over to the dilo/cera fight, so I hit the uggo red teno a few more times before getting sniped from in front of him again. Rushed away and sat through 0% blood with thrombosis for a hot minute, and was just sitting and healing when I saw you and panicked. Didn't realize my hp was that low after sitting for a while, but crap bleed leads to even more crap healing so I shouldn't have been surprised. I was mostly worried the tenos were right behind you so I was going to go for a hit and run, only to realize the tenos weren't there "yet" so I hoped to take you out before they could arrive(assuming ya'll were together, you never know on officials). Was mistaken clearly

Honestly I don’t think minmi will be super easy to play. Mainly because it has a LOT of tools, so encounters are about preparation and using the right tool. Basically all of its tools are niche and require good positioning and/or don’t work on chunks of the roster. Compare that to galli who has one strategy that works on 99% of the roster, shift+W.

Difference is, 5 ceras all have the same counterplay options. A mixpack covers each other’s weaknesses.

I mean... yeah it is xD 2 carnos stop you from running away. Dibbles flip you, stego stacks on bleed, spotters prevent you from ever getting free. You touch one of their members, now 9 players are running you down with different levels of stamina and speed.
If it's just a pack of 5 ceratos, you know they're all the same general speed, can all do the same stuff, and if you're more agile or faster, you can weave in and out safely.
Can't do that with mixed species because they have counterplays to your abilities

If it tries to fight them, yes. But depending on the age of the ceras and allo, the allo could escape if it runs early enough. If it hits a path, it won’t leave footsteps, allowing it to hide. If those ceras even had a single fast dino, that’s not even a possibility.

But with a single fast dino, they now can also run down anything slower than that dino, as the target can’t escape or rest. Not to mention any debuffs the small Dino can apply (like a dilo just blinding things)

Again, depends on the matchup. If you’re at a lake, an austro is still just as terrifying because your main hope is running to a burrow. Or a meg is likely just terrifying no matter where you are because that thing can swim and get in your burrows.

The example given to me for why any (even a chill, non-murdery) mixpack is inherently evil was a starving Allo sees an injured Cerato surrounded by mixpackers. The mixers have now made it so the Allo can't kill and eat the Cera, and my point was, the Allo isn't going to be able to kill and eat the Cera whether it's packed with a mixpack or packed with Ceratos. The Allo is still starving whether the Cera is with Cera's or a Diablo. Really no difference because the Diablo can't chase any carnivore down other than Deino and Rex, and both of those will have no problem killing a Diablo. The automatic assumption is that the mixpack will be built to destroy anything that attacks it, but a lot of the mixpacks are Beipis, Dryos, babies, and a couple of carnivores such as Cerato. Then everything kills the Beipis and Dryos, and the tiny wee babies, and then it's just the Ceratos. How is that evil? So silly.

Def could be faster in water if they decide to give it a surprisingly fast water run along the bottom like hippos. And it depends on if they give meg an actual ambush and how fast they make minmi. Honestly minmi can be made pretty fast without any issue other than “it looks silly” (which it already does)
