It makes no sense that a dino reaches adulthood and then IMMEDIATELY starts becoming an elder. Adult shoulldnt be considered 75% growth, it should be 100% and should stay there for at least as long as the dinosaur took to grow. Only after a few hours of adulthood should the elder check trigger

Adult as of rn means nothing you hit adult and you immediately start elder even if you're a rex you become 9.4 tons relatively quickly it may be not much but still that's 100kg more then adult so does adult stats matter if it's more like a growth tick if your adult if 100kg and you get prime and you become 110kg does your adult stats even matter?🤔

It can happen, and nest griefers are a thing, but game design shouldnt revolve around avoiding that. Game mechanics should incentivize proper diinosaur gameplay, like nesting and growing in good faith. The game will definitely not have much of that if we just say "lets not incentivize dinosaur roleplay, because some people want to grief".

As I said before, for me the “challenge” for herbivores should not be acquiring food, it should be learning which areas of the map spawn the best food for you and forming migratory paths between those areas in order to best maintain your resources

We actually had this back in Spiro where for example Tenonto’s diet plants spawn in the Swamp, Central Plains and North West river, this meant that as a tenonto you would be naturally migrating between these three regions in order to get a perfect diet as each one spawned plants of a different nutrient

Additionally players could also choose to stay in one or two regions and refrain for a perfect diet in order to have an easier time just focusing on one or two nutrients, and on top of that if you refused to get any nutrients and only ate grass you actually had to deal with impactful debuffs which made players actually avoid solely eating grass
