Giga is effectively t-posing, so it isn't standing upright like rex is. I measured it around the same size as rex (because I really have nothing else to go on), and spino is just that enormous.

Official servers are the "official Vanilla" of the game... and should be at a standard, where they are playable for those who don't need to "edit" things inorder to make the game playable. It is an early access game, so I am providing the feedback that there is not enough food for a viable apex in a Vanilla Setting.

Of course I could play on an unofficial server, but that feedback means literally nothing then, because the conditions aren't the same.

when you make a horse and you make it walk forward, you simply drag the model forward and adjust for slopes etc. with snakes however they dont just go forward, they slither and move over every grove and indent because their entire body is on the floor whereas only a horses legs are on the floor. You have to adjust for everything when making a snake and if you dont it looks weird and wonky or stiff and outdated

i've let the devs know there is an issue, will just have to wait now. try playing another server in the mean time? and maybe avoid the swamp sanct, it could be a crash loop issue, but that is just my guess.

tldr theyre just testing if the basic default colors work. naturally it broke. give it time and some of us have figured out how to change the colors anyways using the hex codes so

if you mean literally how to become a deino then join a server, press carnivores, deinosuchus, pick your skin and spawn in, dont forget to switch branches in steam to either evrima for the main branch or hordetesting for extra content for evrima thats being tested still (redwood biome, one new dino currently and better foliage and lighting)

Its not holding it back as much as youd expect. It gets a LOT of daily traffic. You can check steam charts online to check daily player counts. Its usually between 10k and 15k daily atm

Switching branches is easy anyway, plus most people figure it out after a slight amount of research anyway. A lot of the YouTubers people watch let them know to switch branches.

The game doesn’t have an objective per say, you just grow an animal, try to survive as best as possible and when you reach old age you can choose to die and respawn with some benefits on your next life

It’s very buggy at times, especially for dinosaurs with pounces and grabs, Rex being one of them, but that’s probably why it’s not the main branch yet. Most other dinosaurs are just fine, like the absolute beast, Troodon.

Yeah it happens to me more on herbivores weirdly but sometimes people will kill their own. There’s also a cannibal mutation for carnivores that adds their own species to their diet. They’ll turn White to signify this.
