Well going off of the community reports for hordetest alone, I personally have not seen reports for big issues such as folks losing dinos so I was under the impression that was fixed based on that solely. Which would be my fault for relying on one source

So the only thing QA would actually be for me is helping a game I care about, yet know will never be what I want it to be... be less buggy. Since no feedback I give would have any value or weight because it would be coming from a me in particular, I just don't see the point, or rather... The point in me not applying is saving myself from being more involved, and thereby more dissapointed in what the game is, and will continue to be.

Why risk your time as a juvie/sub, where you are more vulnurable and open to immediate death if you don't need to.

You can have joy from player interaction after your creature is capable of getting the most from it. Dying as a juvie, and having that time ultimately amounting to nothing significant, isn't worth it for most players.

There is no intrinsic satisfaction to be found in getting mauled to death as a sub allo by a horde of dilos. If you die it'll mean nothing, you might as well play it the correct way until you are capable of interacting with others.

Lumen only improves some things a lot because it completely disables tons of features once you toggle it off. The alternative looks bad via exclusion, not because Lumen is actually doing anything impressive.

Exposure is cranked to the moon and auto exposure feels rancid, gamma was turned up a few too many notches, shadows are still far too dark but you dont notice because of the over exposure, the sun feels at least 3x brighter than last update, which was already far brighter than the actual sun. That, and contrast looks like it was turned down even more so its even less saturated than the last update, which really doesnt do the new foliage justice.

Oh, and the lighting is still way too hard, I miss soft lighting.

when your dino gets to 75% growth, that's the adult stage. If you did certain things before you got to 75% growth, you'll become a "prime elder" which is a stronger version of the normal dinosaur. It gives you a boost to your stats (like speed for example), and lets you pick 2 mutations intead of 1 (so a total of 4 mutations for a prime elder, and only 3 mutations otherwise)

Not in that life, once you reach 100% just lay down and sleep, then quickly open your character menu to mutations, and click entomb.

Once you do that you'll respawn as a Juvenile copy of your creature, with the 4 bonus mutations, then you can get 4 more in that life.

Repeat until you've filled all the slots.

Your reward is that you get to respawn as a juvenile of that same dino, but you start out with all the mutations you had before (plus the new ones youll get to pick, now that you've started a new life).
