For prime or even adult deinos? I guess, but that’s already the case since they have a LOT of hp and damage. If you manage to die as them on land YOU made multiple large mistakes. You shouldn’t get your hand held because you decided to waltz up to a pack of allos 100 meters in land and thought you would win with ease.

The main things the smaller dinosaurs would kill would be smaller deino, which would be the ones who lack the hp and damage to tank the hits. These also should not have the get out of jail free card of being immortal for existing.

Deinos already have an immortality zone where nothing in the game except other deinos can hurt them: it’s called water.

crocs have changed loads, in fact modern crocs aren't closely related to the likes of deinosuchus and sarcosuchus, it's just that the croc body plan works very well for that lifestyle so things evolve into that shape. if you look back into paleo-history, lots of things have adopted the croc body plan, some of which were not related to crocs at all like prionosuchus. It's the same with crabs, lots of things adopt the crab shape, because it's a very good shape for that lifestyle.

the only times I see a deino get bodied is by other deinos, when they're too small and went too far in land, they try to fight an apex, or they get jumped by a large group and get their alts baited out easily because deinos rarely have to fight on land. You can already fight practically anything smaller by trading alts, even most groups you can kill by trading alts (allos would prob be the main exception but thats mostly due to allos having an INSANE bite speed). But if you can't trade alts or you're fighting something/group thats too big, thats on you for fighting it.

when you spawn in, you get a spawn code that works for the next 5 mins. you can share that code to a friend and they will be able to spawn as the same dino nearby (iirc you automatically get put in the same group as well).

I can't remember exactly where it is but I think the code is near the top section of the character menu, you should be able to click and copy it.
