Being perfect diet, migration zone, patrol zone etc. my question is do you have to do anything at said zones, does starving at any point ruin prime, and at what point is prime worth it? Like no shot getting hera and tro prime is worth but omni and dilo?

You just have to be present in the zones afaik. You can have 0 hunger / thirst but if you ever get 0 diets you will be infertile, which will make it much harder / impossible to get prime. My knowledge may be outdated, though.

I also strongly suspect there is a travel distance requirement to neuter attempts to cheese the requirements. You want to avoid going infertile from all diets being 0, and you want to avoid getting muscle spasms from cannibalism. Well like even in our last session on Apex, ive hit a point where, as a Trike, I really have no fear with Rexs I can stun, its the Rexs I can't stun that you have to play super turtle against. Because you can't really stun a Prime Rex in spar as an adult Trike. Id need to test it a bit more, but right now its more so a case of just pummeling a clueless Prime Rex as an adult Trike that knows better.

Honestly stam regen is not very useful on a baby. They already have more stam than the parent. The adult maia buffing the calf to be able to run at the same speed would help a lot to keep them alive imo

Because the parent can only go as fast as the kid, that prevents it from being used offensively in most scenarios. And either way, 2 adult Maias would be much worse to deal with than 1 Maia and its child.

I just think gutting the speed is the one stat they shouldn’t change. It can drop down to adult speed, but going below that starts to cause issues. But specifically issues for the smaller tiers only, larger dinos generally have less need for speed as they can just fight 90% of the roster even while weak. Like trike getting a speed reduction means nothing as they already get outrun by everything, but a Omni getting slowed down to cera speed means it now gets run down by a large chunk of the roster.
