I mean I think the rising of lowering of water with dramatic weather changes would be nice, ie wet / dry seasons, which would pair nicely with the depth thing.

For swamps and that areas human facility in particular, can also on rare occasions use the pump system already hooked into swamps to drain a portion of it, while simultaneously flooding the human facility, so the drinking and aquatic locales in general can both be more dynamic

Right now fish ai is very inconsistent, I can only speak from the solo experience side of things but the big groups are part of the problem. Im not 100% sure about what the numbers would be but I can say that it occasionally will be hours to actual days ive gone without seeing people come to a spot I can grab. Now with all the new players I imagine things are different but its only a matter of time till they all have adjusted their play styles to avoid deino.

Personally I always recommend gallimimus. It's an omnivore so food isn't as much of a concern, it grows decently fast, and it's quick as all hell so you can run around and start learning the map. I will warn you that the player surge has caused the official servers to break pretty badly, so you might want to look into joining an unofficial instead. Sometimes they have gameplay rules, so if you join one, try to find its Discord server to see what's up!

I have a question as it’s been a while since I played last. I started a stego and about 46% growth currently. I just traveled from the Northern Jungle to the bottom left of Eastern Jungle sniffing for food and found zero. This zone is a migration zone that I entered and by doing some reading, this is where I’m supposed to go for increased food spawn for diet. I’ve ran 3/4 the zone sniffing and have found nothing.
