Elite fish are at Delta and Swamp mostly. There's no guarantee, since other deinos will be swimming around looking for them.
Schooling fish will be everywhere. Grab the lot and place them on the bank, wait about 8 minutes for them to rot, then eat them for an easy diet.

Yo we have GOT to improve the gastrolith system. I spent legitimately 10 minutes as a fresh rex (spawned near gastro) doing nothing but eating stones constantly so the buff would always be up to get me to 25% hunger and as soon as I turned an allo who I guess was camping ate me instantly. There should be no reason that the buff does so little for your food drain for such a small period of time.

No, pachy's headbutt can damage larger creatures to an extent. It will deal bone break, but not stun to creatures around the 1300-2100 KG weight range. Much heavier than that and you will have no effect to what you're hitting and stun yourself.

Things smaller than you will be thrown onto the ground when you headbutt them.

Fun pachy fact: Alt attack has a higher stun threshold than bonk, and can stun things like prime carno/fresh prime teno under 1800 KG.

Yeah. Sounds cues plays a huge role in hunting. Footsteps, breath, calls all contribute towards finding food as a carnivore. Turning down the in-game music is probably the first thing I'd do.

The other branches you might see are hordetest (identical to evrima for now, but when the next hordetest starts you'll be able to try out upcoming content) and spiro, which is just an old outdated map
