They don’t need to kill to eat. But many need to kill to not be eaten.

But theres also practically no incentive to not kill,,other than being nice or potentially overcommitting resources. But killing something does add food for carnivores (which can be good or bad) and eliminates a future threat. Also for many people, fighting and “winning” is fun. Especially since herbivores rarely get to choose their fights, so those who want to fight take every opportunity to do so.

Not saying everyone should go around killing everyone. But there’s not much of an incentive not to, and there are incentives to do it for some players. So treat other players as a threat if they can be.

Being 3 tons lighter, taking a crush + bite combo is a quarter of your HP, you get fractures, and after a point you become vulnerable to just plainly getting executed. Not to mention double damage on the head if you slip up at all. There's really no reason a Rex should lose other than the Rex having a skill issue.

Baking fish is when you get some schooling fish and let them rot on land (I may be wrong on other ai bodies not rotting, but I know these do rot). This is because deinos can’t normally eat schooling fish for diet, but when something rots it becomes its standard diet for anyone who can eat rot. Which means deinos can eat the rotten fish for diet. It’s def not intended for deinos to do this, but they can.

Spino gonna be like a croc, slow moving but very snappy and reactive

stego can straight up deal 6k+ damage to the rex in just one 180 swing combo. chase after the rex ---> if he turns to face you do the 180 swing, follow up with 3 more power swings and thats half of the rex health gone. power swing also has more reach than rex crush, so rex can not go in unless he baits the stego, and if you get baited as a stego, its a skill issue. if the rex wants to trade, well guess what? stego gets out of the stun faster, therefore getting an extra hit, on top of that, with the tail facing the rex at all times, the stego is dealing headshot damage while the rex is only dealing body damage, most the time, therefore that cancels out the extra health on the rex. stego also with almost no recovery on the power swing, is able to swing every .5 seconds. even if the rex does manage to bait a power swing and then go in, the stego can instantly swing again and stunning the rex in the process. fracture is also irrelevant when stego can just use tactile endurance mutation, ensuring that he never runs out of stamina. rex only has 1 advantage in the fight, and thats using the forest. hes straight up getting executed in the open against any competent stego

Nah, its a good ping server aswell. Apparently it's also bugged. I died to them because there is a bug where after a crush (thats just my guess) the animation of said dinosaur won't show. Rex has no problem taking on multiple stegos or Trikes. With this one I killed a lot, I just didn't know about the bug where the animations can bug for you and you don't see attacks
