On the one hand, that many people trying to join does make it harder to join, on the other, joining a server has been bugged and hard AF for ages . However, I can only hope that the devs are getting a lot more info on joining server issues from that many people having those issues in the first place.

The problem is the game's no where near completion so there's a lot of expectation that we need growth "now" when we really don't. Not that it's a bad thing but people are experiencing a half done game in progress and coming to the conclusion it's just a bad game etc, it's a beta and not anywhere near ready to accomodate these expectations yet

Everyone says the isle is in early access but its not for lack of content. Its the bugs and sketchy servers that are holding it back if the servers were solid and there were less bugs there's no reason the game couldnt "release"

I work in software and our application has bugs and issues every update, servers randomly go down and we have to figure out why. I can't imagine what they deal with as game developers which has way more moving parts than what I work with. Constantly updating and resolving bugs is standard.

Id be surprised if they're unaware of this at this point. This even happened a week or two before Peanut discovered The Isle so the devs probably have had a plan for this since before The Peanut Wave

Admittedly, with all due respect to this team and the work they put in, I think one of the weak areas when it comes to this games development is that, at times, patches (whether they be big fixes, balance changes, etc) tend to have a long periods before deployment due to trying to implement everything in one big swing when some issues demand some more urgency to fix while other points of concerned should be worked on after the main issues have been addressed.

Now, why this doesn't happen may just be that there's internal builds that are active WIPS that they may not have the current build available to work on for some reason(?)
I truly don't know. The network status issues I'd imagine sprouted up when the devs are deep in the works for whatever build they're getting ready to deploy next.

Hello guys . i would need some help. i finally raised the first raptor to 100% but at some point i tried salted water and got Fluid Deficient debuff. tried to drink more water to vomit and later get fresh water or wait for 3 hours for it to go away but nothing helped . after reaching 100% even with the perfect diet it was got a second debuff called Temporary infertile . I found somewhere online that i press H like to log of safely and then tab and go to mutations i can finaly evolve to adult or w/e . Dont know what i pressed there but my raptor got reseted to baby again 🙂

You become infertile at 100%. Thats just because you are old. Hou just entombed and buffed your old mutations. Check your muts menu you should see the muts in the small hexagons

So the fluid deficient isn't much a debuff, just a sign you drank salt water. It goes away if you drink more and unlocks the salt water mutation "renicukate kidneys" for you to pick in that life. Not a big deal either way and it will be a bit of throwing up or you take it in small doses over time to unlock without throwing up.

The temp infertile happe s at 100% and mrans you can do what's called "entombing" which when you rest, you can tab and replicate your dino to hVe the same mutations but stronger versions of them, on top of additional mutations in your next life. This is also sometimes called you being a "2nd gen" dino

That is the gameplay loop: get muts, get old, entomb, grow again

Once you reach 100% you are infertile and no longer able to nest, you can entomb at 100% to get buffs on your mutations and start over while also able to get more mutations in your second life. Also dont drink salt water unless you plan to get the mutation( reniculate kidneys allow you to drink salt water) or else you will be stuck with it for life

That's correct, 75% onward is your "elder" stage. Where you're either prime (4th mutation unlocked) or not (no fourth) and if prime you'll see a boost in stays a bit before becoming frail and them decreasing, whike no prime you keep your max stats for a bit before becoming frail

Peanut is playing on evirma, you can use this aswell @fast leaf when in the library for the isle click on the gear, when thats opened click on betas, you'll see on the top right of that it says none you can click that to change to evirma

You can grow a dilo off A.I. without needing to fight a single player. So, general survival talents are always good: reduced thirst decay + gain water when eating, etc.
If you want to fight players though, get the 'reduced damage against larger species' since you'll probably trade in fights and it helps you survive while applying your venom.

Currently, I feel that the Rex is in the position it should be. If they nerf its fracture, the Trike would easily beat it. If they nerf its agility, the Stego would easily beat it. There's no way to nerf it without making it unbalanced. For me, the only thing it needs is a nerf to its ambush speed, like reducing it to 8 seconds, and maybe, just maybe, adding crowd control to the Trike. Although, in my opinion, its spin attack is too good, and crowd control would simply make a Rex take a combo, but at least it wouldn't be able to get behind it so easily. However, I feel like it would make the Trike very overpowered. What I would really say is that if it wants to win 100%, it should play with the environment, and literally, not even a Rex stands a chance there

I’ve seen quite a bit of people complain about Rex hunger drain, but why? He’s an ambush predator, he’s supposed to have slow hunger drain to begin with. Besides, if you do manage to make it to adult, should starvation really play a big part of your life? Considering how unfun it is. Especially on official servers where you can barely find anybody and boar/deer only give 2-3% food and you can’t catch them when you reach 65% as a Rex because they run away when you get close enough

This continues for the first 2-3 hours of your life as opposed to troodons 15-30 minutes. How is it comparable

The difference is that Juvie Rex can afford to hunt literally any small Ai. You are fast & strong enough to chase down chickens & psitaco, a troodon isn’t upon spawn. I actually don’t mind the Juvie having all that on its diet because it reflects that the Juvies shouldn’t have a hard time getting nutrition compared to adults. They should have a good time just getting food because they don’t have to sustain that much

The sub & adult having all that Ai however is bad. Because it is a bunch of food sources they shouldn’t be living off of for nutrition

I’d like dynamic diets. That change (or more so just regress) as you grow. A Juvie Rex can gain nutrition from everything an adult would and more. But once it’s a sub it loses most of those options as it’s too large

Nah, I see it more like a big slow corpse bully. If a Trex kill something near water it might need to defend it from a predator larger than itself but slower which thrive in defensive posture

I can see Spino being able to use its arms to grab and hold a Rex mid crush, acting as a spar for them. Whoever wins the spar gets their ability of. Rex wins it gets a crush off, Spino wins it shoves the Rex to the ground allowing for follow ups
