Killer MMR is. . . fine. It's shallow but going by kills is functional. Survivor going by entirely escapes is asanine. a guy who hid all game and got hatch gains MMR but the guy who did 5 gens and gets camped in end game or ran the killer for 5 gens and gets camped in end game both lose MMR

in my opinion, i think the themes will be enviorment based. so for instance, a plains carno may have access to pale greens, yellows, etc, while a redwoods carno would have more of a red/brown/rust color pallette

so they can allow animals to have a multitude of colors without worrying about if the colors fit each other in every single use case

alright well first thing you want to do is exit the game, right click it in your steam library, go to "game versions & betas" and select Evrima

once you do that, youll be on the version of the game actively being updated. a few servers i would recommend are Petit Pieds, Mettas Den, etc. they generally have a pretty low rule set that keeps the game feeling almost official while removing alot of the less desierable parts (megapacking, mixpacking between carnivores and apex herbivores, etc)

no it feels unfun because being pinned in general just isnt fun lmao, with omni it atleast makes sense and is more balanced than per se getting pinned by a allo. teno for example struggles heavy against allo with it barely being faster. if you cannot make it to a rock or hope you spotted it in time which you have a fair chance of not spotting it due to the heavy terrain then you're just gone lmao. you can like allo but to pretend like its not an unfun dino to fight against is silly, not to mention the range and insane hitbox on its pin. ive seen people be grabbed from the top of rocks by it and with no way to fight back to being pinned by it you're just dead unless you have teammates who can kill it before it kills u or if it runs out of stam

again, ive already mentioned that allo's grapple math (the thing that allows it to bring down low stam/health/blood animals solo & in a group) is way overtuned with the current values (its using Omniraptor values)

Yes Juvie Rex is INCREDIBLY SLOW to start

an allo can be 2.5 tons while a teno is aboiut 1.3tons so it isnt instantly pinned but its very easy to do so to a teno given how its barely a little heavier. also, teno is 42-40km and allo is 39-38km. plus with lunge giving you that extra nudge you can def catch an adult teno as allo, especially if you take advantage of the terrain

I don't think it was "lazy" at all when latching is exactly what Allosaurus did in real life. Granted it prob didnt teleport ontop of Rex's but it's more so an issue with how latch points are designed anwyays

And I wanna bring this up, if we just gave allo a unique latch where it's standing at all times and never teleports onto latch points, how different is it actually going to be when it'll still likely be able to pin things anyways

Pin just shouldnt be on anything except omni honestly

As a teno main that change sounds absolutely abhorrent imo carno would just absolutely decimate it. Teno definitely does best as a brawler because that's what its kit was intended for.
