For those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

Go to the game folder. Right click game in steam, properties, local files, browse.
Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.
Run the game, now it installs EasyAntiCheat for you.

• Local Files
• Browse
• Open EasyAntiCheat Folder

Carno being so damn strong makes it difficult though. You can’t fight Carno or cera, 2 omnis, or a dilo(if the clones work) so you basically run from every fight that isn’t in your stun range

immediately go for your salt water mut ur small and fast. what ur gonna do is go to the ocean with a full bar of water and drink. youll get whats known as fluid defficient on your status screen when you open up your dinosaur menu. keep drinking until thats gone and then go into your open mutation slot and find reniculate kidneys. becareful that u find an easy way to get to the ocean bc deino loses water on land u need a full bar of water to get salt water mut as a baby

I prefer stego but sustaining one is a complete slog with just how many bushes you need to eat. And how slow you move/trot and how many bushes spawn per pz/each type of pz etc

The Elder system has not even slightly solved the problem. If anything by having the quests as the entry requirement, its only forced players into being more reclusive. It has done wonders with harming player interaction.

The original pitch for the elder system as far as we are aware, is to reward players who survive to a higher standard, with a stronger stage, obviously they've done a complete 180 on that concept for the most part. As it is now basically just a punishment state, but to that end, it doesn't really punish afk growth at all.

if you want to get the salt water mutation i would travel to the bottom most part of delta where the dam to the ocean and the fresh water is. there's an underwater gate you can travel through back and forth to get the mutation. it's also far easier

The best part of the Elder system are the models. Some of them lacking for sure, but the ones that look good are actually really effin good. And If I had to say the worst thing about it is the speed change be it negative or positive.

Tying it to diet and perk pathways already feels like approaching it from the wrong angle. That might just be because of how those two mechanics turned out, but even still, that isn't even roughly an accurate measure of a creature's success in survival terms. It just proves they... can follow a guide. Which, I suppose is what we ended up getting in the end. But that doesn't make it ant more satisfactory.

So the dev team have to come up with ways of preventing that

With the elder system every single fight now is dynamic, you never truly actually know the exact stats of your opponent nor do they know yours. You are encouraged to go to certain areas and interact with other players even if the timing and the place of these is out of your comfort zone. That difficulty curve is intended, makes sense for a survival to be that way. You don't see it in officials but unofficials with higher player counts and pop control (aka diverse ecosystems) really thrive because of it.

Anyone really can pretty much guarantee prime for themselves, it's not a big secret to figure out. I have a path, a method, that works for every dino, 100% of the time, that you can figure out in 2-3 lives.
My friends and I have never ever failed prime unless a server crash resets our progress.

i wouldn't be surprised if they realised 'underground labyrinth' is just too much, and thus morphed out the underground with just aboveground ... and put a bunch of these things together

I'm satisfied with Prime Stego. Adult Stego is a lunchbox. I would also change the fact that it cannot raise it's tail. There should be no scenario where it's unable to raise it's tail. You can put damage nerf/stamina consumption nerf on it with modifiers such as bonebreak etc. But it's just silly that even with 2-3k health left there is a time where you are literally just free meal.

Their dps is good and their bleed is insane. They can also use congenital to even the field a bit more
