Officials are a lil more rampent with hackers and mixpacking, it's generally a bit more normalized on unofficials basically preventing people from mixpacking with carnivores/herbivores to kill you and overpacking more than groups allow. Overall unofficials are generally more moderated and welcoming

I could go on a rant for hours about the last two World movies. Rebirth at least makes up for it with it's visuals and some sound design. Specifically for the Rex.
Visuals across the board for Rebirth were great. Just the choices and story were god awful.

Only good scene I can recollect from Dominion was the Theri introduction. But even then, they really missed when it came to it's tone. Evident by the concept art.

I just can't give a movie a pass if it feels soulless and the writing is awful. I grew up with Alien 1979 as my favorite movie ever, and I personally just am tired of the nostalgia bait and uninteresting characters they keep casting. Bad design can be remedied with good writing but not the other way around. Godzilla minus 1 is a great example that writing is so key when creating a story that matters and invests me.

its prob more about the fact that austro is so unique that it had to go first because its a semi-aquatic hyper aware fishing raptor, which is unlike anything in the game, so some of its mechanics (fishing) can be a good basis for bary while also being smaller so easier to do, ken is just kinda a herbi filler since allo, and rex are carni pluus austro can prob eat meat as well. i think bary just ended up getting the short end in the placements

I think you misunderstand the role of the anticheat program versus adding anticheat measures to the game itself.

The true value of an anticheat like EAC is to cast a wide net to prevent blatant file modification, to that end, it does its job very well.

To really prevent hack clients, they need to implement more server integrity checks to detect when something out of the ordinary occurs. That is not something that can be done with a program like EAC, in fact, Anticheat programs often have no idea what is going on within the game itself, their only job is to prevent modding.

The devs have, consistently, been adding in server checks. If you haven't noticed already, there are far fewer prevalent speed, damage, agility, and other stat hacks present on servers. Because the server is now consistently checking for those. There are a few gaps in the checks, like trike has an attack that is being exploited, deino underwater movement can be boosted to absurd speeds, and certain other specific attacks can also be altered. But beyond that... there isn't much left to do, that can be done by the developers. UI cheats cannot be detected, ESP cannot be detected, and in general, if it doesn't pertain to what the server can see, it can't be stopped. But that is not something that can be solved by swapping out EAC for a custom program.

Not to mention the development costs of such a pursuit, for such minimal gain.

Almost every online game is vulnurable to ESP. You can just never tell for the most part. The only way to catch ESP consistently is through active server moderation. Or, if its a first person shooter, crosshair tracking.

Most of the time ESP is packaged with aimbot, so a lot of games catch ESP by just tracking for aimbot.

Fun fact, you can bypass most shooter's anticheats by just using the ESP without the aim tracking. Since that isn't what is being tracked... and again, that only applies for competitive shooters really.

For a game like The Isle that would never work.

League and Valorant still need to deal with hackers, like every other game.

The reason it's less prevalent is because Vanguard is a whole ass section of their company, with a full team dedicated to working on the anticheat measures 24/7 as their whole job. Also, their anticheat being exclusive means there are far fewer workarounds and known exploits. But that doesn't mean they aren't there.

Once there is an exploit, there isn't much that can be done. For Valorant they track for aimbot, but like I said, you can get around that with enough work on the cheat client end, and they have. For league, there isn't much they can do to detect it in game. Since its just revealing the full map, disabling the fog of war. Sure, a player may seem to move abnormally, but that can only be caught with active moderation.

So, yes, they still have a hacking problem, the only reason it seems like they don't, is because they are have a team working to plug holes as often as possible, and the cheats that do get through, are barely noticeable to the players in game.

Games only seem like they dont have cheaters, when the cheats are nearly indistinguishable from a very good player. There is no such thing as a catch all anticheat.

Yeah, it scans every file on your PC, because thats... how it's supposed to work. If it only searched for game specific files then what would even be the point of having an anticheat?

EAC also checks your whole PC, so does Battleye, and so does Valve's Anticheat. Again, that's just the program doing its job, as it was designed to do.

Also, no, they are not bound by Tencent, there is no storing of any user data, and they are not bounds by Chinese data collection laws because that's not how Chinese data collection even works.
