fresh rex doesnt do much at all in terms of damage, atleast from what ive experienced as PT fighting them. plus, elder damage resistence helps ^^

again, im talking the freshest of rexes. 55-80kg range

actually we had a similar situation a few months ago when our Maia mob was drink driving through the map, we stopped at the Savannah

a dilo had been following us for some time and as we started nesting in a nesting grounds-looking area (a patch of gravel) the dilo was testing out its luck by stalking us

It's actually insanely good. Comes out fast, does plenty of damage and CC now. But it does cost a little bit of stamina, and it locks you in an animation for a moment so you can catch damage in return, but it's fantastic for stomping out Troodon, Omni, Dilo, and other various things in that size range. It's also good against much larger things than that because it can still stun, but it will lay out or outright kill the little guys.
