it is tiny, you cannot go 4 minutes without seeing anyone, and for a game that if you make one mistake hours of your life is gone it gets annoying, the biomes arent fully underveloped no plain is really a plains when theres massive bushes covering your view of anything, the jungles have you running into logs only a few can step over or else you just have to annoyingly go around. Sancturaries are insanely terribly designed and dont really stop any large carnivores from going in them. the terrain itself is jagged and uninteresting. Theres no actual interesting pois unlike legacy which could be argued that anywhere on that map had substance to it, there are no areas where players can cross over to eachother aside from the already poorly designed migration zones and a few bridges or logs

Well depends on how smart you play and what is the population on the server, you can easily avoid people if you play around 100 players and have sounds and you arent in a hotspot. i personnally am happy for removal of some of the parts from the map prior to rex because no one really went there and its jsut empty spaces, this forces more interaction between players, you can’t just afk grow a dino that easily and thats go. With the plains i think thats semi good do you want to be spotted by an allo the moment you enter? The logs are annoying tho. Sanc’s i wouldnt say are terribly designed and the terain isnt uninteresting. and i dont get the there are no areas where players can cross over to eachother side? Like what you can swim or go by a bridge or just walk around the river by the long route.

its not crossing water thats the issue its just there are no other crossroads that feel natural aside from bridges, spiro had ends to rivers that people could either take the full trek around and risk not meeting anyone or risk crossing the water and getting grabbed. now in gateway if i want to cross delta i can either risk the camped bridge, or just spend 10 minutes going around west access and be perfectly fine

delta has just been designated as a spot for that due to the fact that is has a sanc and migration zones. any other place in the map could have been that hence why its not a natural cross over. i think players should be moving around a larger map all the time, stick in an area for migration sure but no one place should just be designated as a hotspot for adult/elder animals aside from creatures like deino and herra which have lie and wait playstyles. have areas like delta be a highway not a carpark

Its currently bugged, if there's any droppable meat near the body it seems the "automatic routing" for the feeding animation gets confused which object you're actually trying to eat and doesn't allow you to pull any organs from the body.

but they shouldnt be guaranteed to find a large herbivore in delta unless its a migration zone. gateway is too small where any migration zone can be reached in 20 minutes so they just dont matter that much. and with the addition of patrol zones anyone can live anywhere without a problem. A bigger map with better designed terrain, pois, natural highways and better migration zones could fix this

i mean yes, but i feel like some of the things that keep breaking is things that they already had fixed.
Like its just the amount of things that keep breaking, and the amount of things that breaks over and over that makes it a problem.
Then some better kind of QA is needed to make sure it doesnt happend again and again, and that the issue to things breaking over and over gets rooted out imo.
