I think pounce works best for Giga since the ability inherently let's you reliably hunt every size demographic.

But it also keeps the "Fantasy" of.

That animal will not "get sheered". They will get put to the floor and die.

Nah that doesn't actually make a difference.
Default UE5 RayTracing is hot dogwater, but you still need to have it enabled for Hardware lumen to actually take effect.

At least in my own projects, turning Hardware Lumen on requires r.RayTracing to be set to 1, if you enable HW lumen, it automatically activates RayTracing, but if you try to enable it through the Engine.ini, it requires both to be enabled manually.

Just using commands like:
r.Lumen.HardwareRayTracing=1
r.Lumen.Reflections.HardwareRayTracing=1
r.Lumen.Radiosity.HardwareRayTracing=1

Can cause errors, but they don't actually work or change anything.

Adding r.Lumen.HardwareRayTracing=1 to the Engine.ini or trying to force it through a console command isn't going to work if the game lacks proper Raytracing cooking, which The Isle does. To have the game use HW Lumen the devs would need to enable RT cooking... or rather, enable r.RayTracing.

It's a deprecated command, but it's still necessary as a step zero to have HW lumen.

I suggest you go try it in engine if you don't believe me.
