Oh we didn't just start thinking about that. We had that in talks from the start. BUT if we went through with it at the time, that's extra animations for every single playable that could possibly be pinned/pounced/grappled. Which is a massive overhead. And pounce/pin predates all these extra animating hands we have now. So it wasn't something feasible at the time. And then in addition to that, there was the very real possibility of cheaters cheesing it depending on how it functions. So there was a lot to consider at the time. So we opted to keep things as they were until a time and a place presented itself for us to potentially do otherwise.
