What are you playing as? You need both active and inactive PZ and MZ it seems. So keep traveling the map I suppose. That may be your main issue.

No, the default branch of the game that you download is the branch not supported by the devs anymore. The evrima branch is what theyve been updating for the last 5 years. Im sure its a bit confusing to someone who's never switched branches like that before. Its essentially a different game than what you were trying to play.

AI are deer, boar, rabbit, chicken, etc. Tacos and gallis can sometimes show up as AI. Ai will fight back or chase you as a baby so be ready for that

just adjust the values based on preys weight, how many are pouncing and etc. but iirc we only ever got like 2-4 iterations of stam based bucking. Iirc there was a time it felt like a sweet spot to me in terms of preys stam cost bucking but the pouncers stam cost to holding on while bucking was a bit too high. All they would have had to do was reduce it a bit but they never did

I lied and I apologize I was looking at a specific time period. The dinosaur species that survived the longest is actually the Ornithomimus, which is believed to have survived for around 10 million years. Surviving from the Campanian until late Cretaceous. And the species had only died out with the asteroid so most likely would have survived even longer.
