Yes true being fg, and especially a prime one, is fun. But that's not the only purpose of the game. The entire journey has its own spectrum of fun and challenge. Especially on unofficial servers with high player count - juvie is the most fun stage for most dinos

Make herbis difficult via 2 ways option 1 high predation by carnivores, this way player interaction is higher, and u would incentivise this by decreasing nutrient density in carnivore flesh and slightly increasing nutrient density in herbi flesh, thus enticing carni players to hunt herbis (downside is juvie herbis getting hunted with no defense or escape(but tbf imo they already have a botched growth curve) , while nothing hunts juvie carnivores)
Option 2 decrease plant spawns but heavily increase the amounf of food a singular plant gives to the player, this will encourage herbi vs herbi action
