As far as the black screen/loading issues go. The only answer so far is that it might be fixable by editing your Nvidia 3D Settings control panel.

Wondering if there’s a fix for audio? Because whenever i enter evrima, and try to spawn in the audio just glitches.. like it plays but no matter what a few seconds later constantly it interrupts itsself into no sound, and that makes it hard to hear approaching players or whatnot. For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

Make sure your gpu is up to date. If it doesn't work after that please submit a bug report at #evrima-bug-reports

The game is just stopping at the loading screen, after a couple of seconds it becomes a black screen and it closes with out any error report..

Like it glitches in and out. Ambience does cut out and so do calls from creatures, and whenever I call they cut as well so i dont even get to hear the full call. or whenever im moving cuts out then comes back etc. so pretty much all sound as soon as i enter a server, aka spawning in as well. and It's not an issue with my headphones either because their brand new.

Yea thats the only thing you can do. Sometimes I have to wait only a couple of minutes other times its over 10 minutes. They need to fix it though because it makes CPU usage skyrocket. My Ryzen 7 5800x gets super hot when it does it.

Greetings, When I launch the game it crashes my computer after the first loading screen. It doesn't reach the main menu, it displays the "Greetings Islanders" message then my monitors screen goes black and my GPUs fans start spinning loudly. Evrima is a beta full of bugs and issues. I'm sorry you lost your dino, but it is a likely occurrence due to the early nature of this game. Plus official server admins are not 'required' to unstuck people. We mainly handle hackers.

As far as the black screen/loading issues go. The only answer so far is that it might be fixable by editing your Nvidia 3D Settings control panel.

Ik what this means, and i have tried changing my resolution settings on the computer just so I can get into the game to change the setting in the game but I can’t…I don’t know if there is a fix to this or not, but I need to change the game resolution setting but since I can’t get into the game to do it, is there ANY other way? I have tried so many different things but none of them have worked.

To manually change your texture settings for those who cannot do so in game, do the following:

1. Press Windows key.

2. Type "Run" and launch Run program.

3. Type in %localappdata%\TheIsle\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\GameUserSettings.ini (copy and paste) and click 'Ok'.

4. Find sg.TexturesQuality=x and set X to a lower/higher number (see below on what number equals what)

5. Press CTRL S (Save it)

0=low, 1=medium, 2=high,3=epic, 4=cinematic

Note = If you find that the in-game settings don't change after doing this, you have to change all of the settings except "ResolutionQuality" to one number. (AKA all of them have to be 0, or 1, or 3.)

It is always a safe bet to check pins.

Use #evrima-na or #evrima-eu depending on the server you are on and @ official server admin with your in game name and server. Let them know you are stuck. If someone is available they can get you out, or try relogging.

I am having a reoccurring issue, where when I boot up the isle - Evrima, I either get "Easy Anti Cheat not installed" or it crashes during the boot-up screen. At the same point every time. Last time I had the issue was sometime last week, and it was fixed by updating the drivers. But there's no new update. Any ideas how to fix this?

For people with Radeon
The flickering bug has be solved just not by the devs.
It’s because DX11 is supported but not DX12. A close person of mine helped me find out the problem as this had been going on for the past updates.

To solve this problem, first don’t have the game launched. Right click on the isle go to properties then go to launch options and put -dx12, then close that window and launch the game. It 100 percent works!

GFN is completely unable to be used for Evrima now. They made it to where you can’t download betas.

Until they make Evrima the default download (6 years at least), legacy will be the only playable branch for GFN users

Well it isn't necessarily a bug issue, it's just the fact that the devs don't want to make Evrima the main branch yet. I see why though~ some people can't just move on from legacy. (So overall it isn't the devs' faults.)

If Evrima was made the main branch, then GFN users could play the game right now. (If they fixed the easy anti-cheat issue, which is 100% actually a fault of the dev team)

I feel like Update 4 is a solid point to change it to the main branch (excluding the map bug which JUST happened to appear for some reason), but yeah, I see what you're saying. It's just unfortunate, because the devs will always choose having rex and lower specs (more purchases) on their homepage over current Evrima. (Not that I blame them for doing so)

It's also arguable that Evrima has more content than legacy. I feel like all these mechanics and features outweigh the extra dinos that you can play as on legacy. (Excluding the unfinished sandbox dinos that shouldnt exist anyway)

Quick logging usually fixes that. If it doesn't work the first time keep quick logging until it does.
(Note this is a bug so it's not guaranteed to work, please be patient and wait for bug fixes.)

It seems that Steam will try to show servers closer to you. Alternatively, you can use a VPN if you have one. Can’t see any servers? Try checking your Firewall and if it’s doing anything with The Isle. The best thing to do is to add a firewall exclusion for The Isle's folder located within your steamapps directory
Open Steam
Select “STEAM” on the upper left corner
Go to Settings > in-game
Increase the “In-Game Server Browser: Max Pings / minute” value and see if it helps..

Steam Subsystem Failure
Step 1 go into the folders to: Steam >Steamapps> common>The Isle> TheIsle > Binaries > Win64

Step 2: In the folder you're now in (Win64) you should see a file called TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping. If you do, then you're in the right place. In this folder, create a text file named steam_appid. (A normal .txt file)

Step 3: open up your new steam_appid text file that you just created and add 376210 to the file. Just the numbers, nothing else. that is The Isle's Steam App ID

Step 4: Check and see if the game starts properly and you should be set with no more steam subs system error message and can play normally

The loading bug is a cpu render issue, my advice to everyone is. Make sure all your programs are closed in the background. So the cpu can focus fully on the game, wait for the game to load the map. Than you can open you browser again etc.

Press windows button and search "Run" (opening the application)
search "%localappdata%\TheIsle\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\GameUserSettings.ini" in the "Open:" section
Through Notepad, find your way to the section of the script where it has "ActionMappings=etc, etc"

This way will allow you to manually change any settings IF trying to change it in-game is uncontrollable
