south is the direction that goes down, north is the direction that goes up, so on the image u sent you're facing south since you're looking at where the scent compass goes down, you can work out west and east that way too

How do you uninstall the anti cheat thing

actually a friend of mine figured out something about this, so when you log out normally and log back in usually your creature gets wiped 💀 but he figured out if u stay in the game till a body wipe then get that debuff, from then on every time you log off your dino wont get wiped. I dono if its the same for others and if u get kicked out you have a chance to keep your creature if u log back in fast enough. But sadly in the end you cant get rid of it.

after doing some ''experimenting i screwed it up but in doing so i found out how to fix the whole problem with the double black screen or just black screen when pressing my windows key, all you have to do is to go into your isle setting when you load it up and change it from ''fullscreen'' to ''windowed fullscreen'' which has put everything how it was, this wont change your resolution or effect gameplay.

The devs have taken down almost all ETAs that we may want. Excluding the broad human one being "This year"

Even though it'd be amazing, ETAs on an indie title isn't great.
But, if you want to speculate this is the troubleshooting channel
you can ask on the basic discussion channel. Expect servers to be up soonish, noting that It's still the weekends

Rabbits can be found in Plains and Forested areas, they are White. You can spot them a fair bit off if you are tree level. As for Crabs....good luck. I have found 1 since the test branch opened

i really need some help fixing my controls issue

for some reason i have no option to get off gamepad controls. even though the only things I currently have plugged in is my mouse and keyboard. on top of that almost anything I bind to my mouse or keyboard does not work other them wasd looking around and basic attack. sprint does not work no matter what I bind it to, same thing goes for scent, rest or any other command including eating

Yes. I started by verifying files. When I did that it did not find anything missing or bad files. After that I simply tried uninstalling the game through steam and removing all local files including any saved files before re-installing the game.

Even borrowed my roomates new SSD to make sure it wasn't an issue with my HD

Lately i've been having issues regarding sound quality on both evrima and legacy, everything sounds aggressive and bassy and just low quality in general. Everything else on my computer sounds fine, it's just The Isle that is like this. I've tried changing sound quality in the settings but it doesnt seem to help at all. Any tips?

I'm still not even able to get on a server... Win 11. Tried all the fixes. Fresh install, verified files twice, deleted appdata folder. It'll either immediately boot me to main menu or it'll load some of the map and either get a fatal error or boot me to main menu

I7 10750h, rtx 2060 (mobile). Laptop is less then 3 months old so I doubt it's the ssd as it hasn't given indications of problems with anything else.

The QA server ( EU #3 ) restarted and I joined back and now I see a black screen. I was a Deino and it logged me out in the water. I restart The Isle and still nothing. Is there any way to fix this? You're fine, I was asleep until recently so I'd suggest doing a full uninstall reinstall of the game. As listed below.
Mind you it might not fix the issue. I've never really heard of a sound issue with this game? So it seems pretty generic and isolated. I'm not sure if it's something you'd have to figure out on your end or not basically.

When you are encountering issues with the escape menu and/or inability to properly use keybinds/controls, try this:

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

Anyone having the following issue and already tried to manually uninstall and reinstall needs to upgrade from Windows 7. It is believed that this OS causes the issue to occur. Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft anyways and it is an OLD Operating System. Also I have found that many people that run windows 10 that have this issue are using below the recommended GPU for The Isle Evrima. Please upgrade your system before posting here. Our answer to any issue you have if it is below recommended will end up being "Upgrade your system" . You may have an unstable version of Windows as well. There is something seriously wrong with this game, on Evrima EU#3, when 2 Petras;
Start off at the Swamp, fly all around BOTH swamps.
Then fly along the Delta River from South to North.
Then along the Jungle Gully (Where at the joining of the Spiky and Pocket rivers, we find and eat a juv utah!).
Then fly along the Spiky River, across to the Arch river and fly all along that only to die of starvation at the bottom of the Arch River beacuse we have not seen a single sign of any shoal fish.
