well.. the isle by it self is 5 years old. but evrima is relative new. and its still in development. I hate this bug as well but we have to deal with it as long as Update 4 is in development. Lets just hope for the best. and some server owners will give you yur dino back if you take a screenshot before logging out

Im pretty sure NA 3 is having a hard time saving creatures. I grew to about 33% and safe logged out of the server. I logged back in and my deino was deleted. I wanted to make sure creatures werent saving so I spawned another deino and waited til I had .5% growth tried safe logging and relogging back in. This deino got deleted also. I have grown 100% deinos on other servers and haven't seen this issue.

@lunar flicker It seems that Steam will try to show servers closer to you. Alternatively, you can use a VPN if you have one. Can’t see any servers? Try checking your Firewall and if it’s doing anything with The Isle. The best thing to do is to add a firewall exclusion for The Isle's folder located within your steamapps directory
Open Steam
Select “STEAM” on the upper left corner
Go to Settings > in-game
Increase the “In-Game Server Browser: Max Pings / minute” value to 5000 and see if it helps..

I have this EXACT same issue!! Mine runs and launched but before it gets to the play menu it doesn’t load the menu screen and just gives me a fatal error! So, it randomly showed up for me, But it told me it was uninstalled and when I went to look in the local files, it appeared as “Easy Anti cheat setup” then when I clicked to install it it refused to open. But if im correct (I’m most likely not) You just Google it in your browser, then it should take you to the website to download the mod. I had this same issue, if you right click on the game in your steam library, click properties, local files, and the verify integrity. That's what fixed it for me.

you can access the mechanic test servers in rhe same way you would download evrima, but select the test branch instead of the evrima branch

You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

More or less this is a windows error that occurs with direct x or missing vcrun files with the game.
Update your gpu, update windows.

If that's not working, check and make sure your firewall isn't blocking some install files from getting over.

So Im trying to get into Envirma through playing the isle on GeforceNow (game streaming service) and when I try getting into the game Im bombarded by a flood of repeating text boxes refering to "EasyAntiCheat" and a box afterwards saying "Launch Error: Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed"

For the record, Im using no cheats or hacks of any kind - as Ive started the game up sucessfully many times while in GeforceNow in the past - and I have no idea if this is an Isle thing for a GeforceNow issue

Alright! Thanks to someone here, I found a loop around to anyone having this problem! Update the game to Evirma, but ONLY PRESS PLAY WHEN IN "BIG PICTURE" MODE ON STEAM. You should be able to click play and play it from there. It's a bit weird, but it works

depending on ur dinosaur u can try spamjump or have someone pin u down as utah (assuming you are stuck in something like a tree). Sometimes that helps.
If that doesn't work you could use the logout bug to your advantage but ur dino will be gone:
log out, wait 2-3 minutes and relog. This at least saves u the time to wait until starvation.

The past few days I've been having trouble with my dino teleporting east-west at random intervals. Each time it happens, I lose about 50 feet of forward progress. While this doesn't seem to be much of an issue, if I were running away from something or trying to chase something, I would end up losing. My ping is always between 60-90 and this is on the Official Na3 and Na4 servers.

Yup, I had this problem when connected to EVIRMA when utilizing GeForceNow. What works for me though is opening it through Big Picture Mode on Steam.

@orchid robin if you eat your own kind/species, then you will get Muscle Spasms and therefore you will bite random. It will last for a bit, but i have not found out for how long. I think if you eat a lot of other food, it will disappear but i’m not sure

ATTENTION if your tryna verify game files and its not working restart your PC. If you keep getting the easyanticheat thing go into your files find EasyAntiCheat_setup.exe open it find the isle, select it and hit install. If the isle doesnt show up in this try and copy paste the file into the game, select current game hit install, then remove it immediately and try playing. These are all the bug fixes i found work

i have it to and found a way to fix it, the server isnt bugged its the player counter thats bugged. first fav the server, go to steam click view in the upper left corner hit servers on the filter click favorates, and the server should show with the player count , when it drops switch to evrima and press play. should work

For those who need to uninstall Easy Anti-Cheat due to issues with Evrima do the following:

Install, Uninstall, Or Repair Easy Anti-Cheat
The Easy Anti-Cheat service is typically installed automatically with each game, and uninstalled automatically when the last game using Easy Anti-Cheat is removed from your system.

You can also install the service manually. To do so navigate to the "EasyAntiCheat" folder inside of the game's installation folder and locate "EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe". Launch it as administrator and choose 'Install'.

If your Easy Anti-Cheat installation becomes corrupted somehow, you can repair it by following the same steps and choosing 'Repair' at the end.

Easy Anti-Cheat service is uninstalled together with the game. You can also manually remove the service from the system by following the above steps and choosing 'Uninstall' at the end.

Such as this

For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.
