I've had this same issue for quite a while, and it's been bothering and confusing me during my game-play. When I spawn as deinosuchus, the model is identical to the adult's and both of its eyes fold in on each other. It doesn't change the base size of the creature, just the model. I had the same issue a few minutes ago. I got the "Eat" prompt for a fish that was about 7 feet under me (which probably should have been outside eating range), but I pressed E and then couldn't move. I could still chat with my group, so the game wasn't completely frozen. I had to relog to fix it.

i have seen lots of people saying their dinos got deleted after logging do as i say before logging out just press H to sit then open your character menu and leave your group even if you are the only person in it and dont close your character menu because if you close it you will automatically join a group again so after leaving your group keep to character window open and hold H to sleep

I learned from someone in the game and ever since I have been able to save my dinos it works for me

and one more thing lots of people saying that they cant see official servers on Evrima branch NOT QA branch so in evrima branch if you cant see the official servers just enable the Dont Show Empty Server box and refresh it works

Try dis maybe If you are getting an "Anti-cheat" error with Geforce Now, and are unable to open The Isle Evrima due to issues with Geforce Now, try the following.

1. Open Legacy and then close it.
2. There should be a little green cube icon, keep that open and start installing EVRIMA.
3. When the installation finishes, enter Steam's Big Picture mode and open The Isle from there.

But I can´t find any Servers.
I also tried to connect via steam servers, but it says the server doens´t respond.
I can see on a website for server ranks that EU1 and NA1 are online and Players are on the server too. Where is the problem?

It seems that Steam will try to show servers closer to you. Alternatively, you can use a VPN if you have one. Can’t see any servers? Try checking your Firewall and if it’s doing anything with The Isle. The best thing to do is to add a firewall exclusion for The Isle's folder located within your steamapps directory
Open Steam
Select “STEAM” on the upper left corner
Go to Settings > in-game
Increase the “In-Game Server Browser: Max Pings / minute” value and see if it helps..

Aka checking the firewall and trying a vpn

Every time I play Evrima its sound cuts out constantly, I can't load surrounding terrain when I spawn. I usually starve before it does in the new stress test. FPS is really low, and it is very "jittery" despite when i turn my graphics settings to low. I do have above the recommended specs given by this website https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/requirements/the-isle/13005 although I can't tell if it's for the legacy version or Evrima. If anyone can help me pin point the exact problem so i can either upgrade my PC or my Router please let me know. This has been happening since Update 3 was released.

I tried doing the Non-Steam Add game route that people used for Legacy/EVRIMA. But that isn't working. Figured out a work-a-round myself. I downloaded both the EVRIMA & QA Branches, copied them to my hard drive in a different location than steams folder.
When I swap between the two versions, I pause the download, copy over game files from the hard drive. Verify integrity of Cache, and wala instantly on the client I want.

what also helps in your storage settings. Clear up any unused data. Also helps to optimize your drivers in your HDD or SDD. i do that about every other day and keeps it from having any issues. Also Defragmantation helps alot with files being re orginized and sure there in the correct folders.

Both no longer work, i was able to get into a game yesterday but i couldnt move, look around or even logout of the game. Had to pull up task manager in order to do so. Now my game wont even open bc it says my easy anti cheat isnt downloaded. I checked my files for it on my pc and they are there and properly downloaded. If you're having issues with Easy Anti-Cheat you could try installing it from the CMD.
1a. Open a terminal in The Isle EasyAntiCheat steam folder and type EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe install 108bae92517548518cbd371722381ded
1b. Alternatively just open a terminal as admin and type something like "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install 108bae92517548518cbd371722381ded
That might solve the easy anti cheat not installed. I still can't connect to any server as I keep getting kicked back to the main menu though, no idea if it's still related to this cheat thing

If you're encountering a "Launch Error - Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" simply verify your game files.

You can do so by right clicking The Isle in your Steam library > left click properties > local files > verify integrity of game cache.

Alright Group - I finally after uninstalling and reinstalling 3x got the game to work. I have been dealing with anti cheat issues and game just going to black screen on launch. Now for the Anti-Cheatt, blow away everything to do with anti cheat in the game directory, wherever you have that saved, the validate game files for fresh installs. Next You'll need to change the launch mode to "-windowed mode" I've copied a help guide that paunch posted back in June. These steps helped me, best of luck and the devs should fix this ASAP IMO. #pinned-troubleshooting message

firstly, I'd try with verifying your game files (if you don't know search -> "How to verify steam game files")
Secondly, you should check if your PC/Laptop/Rig is actually capable of running The Isle Evrima

Evrima's suggested graphics ARE NOT in steam (yet).
If you have 4-8 GB RAM, recommended to have more.
If you have an old GPU, you must upgrade (or even CPU) - make sure you're not bottlenecking.

Also, do check if your PC's drivers are all up to date

^ my steam, instead of installing the update for ai glitching and crashing issue, decided to reinstall the whole QA branch and now i cant join servers. seems like its not just me though.

ive been having a problem with evrima recently, ive been playing the stress test since day 2 but for some reason the game now runs slower than a power point. I have no clue why, my computer has handled the isle for years.

I have installed Quality Assurance Branch to test things out, yet I can't even launch the game, I click on it to open it, however I end up getting this message.

Heya, so I’ve had this issue with Evrima. I CANNOT get it to work! I change it from legacy to Evrima, it launches, but before it gets to the Play screen (after the Load up glitchy effect thingy) the screen is black and it says error some file not found? And I’ve reset the game, removed all files and reinstalled it, ive done everything I know of and it won’t work :/ <@&818552355796287508>

hi ! my friend currently doesn't have access to her keyboard and wished to play evrima with me with a switch pro controller. But apparently she cannot rebind anything and the only things she can do with her baby deino is attack and going up and down underwater, she cannot even open the pause menu
is the switch pro controller currently not fully supported ? how can she change her keybinds ?

it is a visual glitch, the server is full

it just looks or shows that there is room

restart steam or uninstall the reinstall

and then check files

go to %localappdata% in search bar, delete "the isle" folder, then exit the isle so it is closed, then reopen the game.

this should reset all u keybinds and stuff, u should be able to access the pause menu and settings
