Hey guys every time i join a server I get this bug where nothing is loading and im either above in the air or underneath the ground. Any fixes to that?

It means that your bleed-damage is regenerating.
It just means that you will slowly regenerate hp and this bleed-damage, but as long as the "blood drop" icon will not disappear every damage from other dinos will make you bleed again (the wounds will just open).
EVEN if their attack does not give bleeding normally.

For anyone encountering fatal errors leading to crashes You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

If you cannot play Evrima due to error 'CreateProcess() returned 2e4' go to your Isle.exe in Steamapps/common/TheIsle.
Right click the .exe>Hit Properties>Compatibility>Uncheck 'Run this program as administrator'

Then go into The Isle/The Isle/Binaries/Win64/ Right click 'TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping.exe > Properties>Compatibility and Uncheck 'Run this program as administrator'

It's possible this is caused by having your game installed on the wrong drive. Make sure it installed correctly.

No I've been on evrima since they added the pteras and deinos but after the update with the new water effects I haven't been able to play, the screen goes black when I try to launch and after a while I get an error message, I've tried setting it to -windowed mode like it says in the guide but it does not work

Seems like you had installed Legacy first and changed the controls.
You have to delete the config folder under .\appdata\local

What I said before you posted will work bud.

I needed to not only remove the folder, but resinstall the game after the update. Sometimes things just get ganked up for some reason, so it's probably good to do this whenever there is an update especially if you find issues with keys or otherwise.

Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > TheIsle > delete the "Saved" folder

Why is Evrima laggier than ever? Animations break then you can't neither fly as Ptera or lay down as a utah or even eat as Deino. Are they hiring worse and worse programmers? You get stuck a lot easier now in trees than with Legacy
Now Legacy feels way better in comparison. :X

It's like you can't see progress coming at any moment, it feels like it gets worse everytime...

I help as an admin in this server and we get more complaints for people in Evrima than Legacy that their dinos either get stuck or their animations get broken and want to get slayed so they can play again, we have more players in Legacy and the ratio of complaints its a lot lower in Legacy than it is with Evrima... They have to reset the Evrima servers a lot more often because the game crashes a lot more often than Legacy. Wasn't Evrima supposed to be a better version of Legacy?

Legacy had it's chance and was a shit show even when 'stable' if you read the initial message pop up when booting up Evrima every time, you'll see a message about how it's being developed and subject to not work until a finished product is released for Evrima.
AKA: Yes you're correct. It's buggy. It's going to be until it's finished. It was never advertised otherwise, during development.

With the water it is not the graphic intensity that stops us from playing it’s DirectX 12. BUT for all saying “they are upgrading graphics lol get a better pc “ I have a GTX 980 ti with 16GB RAM and can play NEW triple A titles on ultra graphics that were made with using DirectX 12 but the devs put in some time to allow people with DirectX 11 to play. It is a fixable bug that does not require a system upgrade if the devs put time into fixing it and if it is only the water it wouldn’t be a difficult fix.

Mate i am aware of this , most of the information you are sharing is info myself and some others came up with... the point is that we bought the game with above the minimum requirements 2 weeks before this update and then without warning we can’t play. The hasn’t been any announcement on wether or not this will be fixed and wasn’t even acknowledged in the hot fix notes no “we are working on this” no “we are not working on this” all we have gotten is one post from punchpacket saying upgrading has fixed for some people. This post was not long after the update. 2 WEEKS later we have nothing even after we worked out it wasn’t an OS issue it was an issue with assets and direct X 12..we still get no announcement. The thing is, the minimum requirements are for Legacy, not Evrima. A common misconception is that if you meet those requirements, you can play Evrima. Which is not that case. I'm just here trying to keep the crowds from losing their minds by doing the best I can to fix issues as they're popping up, which is a luxury not a requirement
Evrima is a work in progress and subject to not work for some for even long periods of time because it is an alpha. Legacy has minimum requirements because more or less it is finished. @wild walrus

heyho I got a problem with the game sometimes completely freezing and since the game is stuck and forced on the foreground, alt+f4 doesnt work and the only way to get around it is to either restart the pc, if only 1 monitor and with more monitors I can kill the task in the taskmanager

edit: reinstalling didnt help, my game froze twice in a fight as stego vs a raptor pack, it froze I restarted the game and like a minute later it froze again

Hello so i have an issue loading into a specific server on evrima D:
i tested every server like official and regular server but for some reason i cannot load the new beginings server 1. Server 2 works and loads me in just fine but server 1 creates issues like it allows me to join the server but the screen stays black for a long while and mouse icon is gone (not sure if it freezes,. Well if it's happening that often it shouldn't be hard to procure a video then. We don't really have anything atm that auto detects hackers. As it's been stated by Punch, Evrima is in development, and subject to not work correctly until it is finished.

The Devs have been trying to fix rubberbanding, lag and so on in their servers. But it's not an easy fix, especially with 3 currently active Programmers who are working hardly on more content in their game.
I've died from rubberbanding before on officials, but i don't want to complain about it. The Official Server Admins are there to help if hackers are present or your character stuck in some sort of bug/bad position

Currently, I cannot get the Au servers to pop up for me. I'm not in any Steam betas, my max ping is set to 5000, and I'm in North America(if that has any significance). Is there anything I can do to get them to pop up?

heyho I got a problem with the game sometimes completely freezing and since the game is stuck and forced on the foreground, alt+f4 doesnt work and the only way to get around it is to either restart the pc, if only 1 monitor and with more monitors I can kill the task in the taskmanager
got the latest nvidia driver

the freezes are completely random (the only thing I could say, it never happens when when I am just resting alone) and it happens every day 1-3 times

already reinstalled the game to try if that fixes it + i dont have legacy installed

You will have to manually uninstall “The Isle” from Steam. This issue is typically caused when someone switches from the Legacy to the EVRIMA branch.
Open “Steam”
Right Click The Isle
Select Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files
Delete everything inside of The Isle’s folder.
Then

• Press Windows key.

• Type "Run" to launch Run program.

• Type in "%localappdata% and click 'Ok'.

• Search for TheIsle folder.

• Delete the TheIsle folder once it has been located.

Anyone having the following issue and already tried to manually uninstall and reinstall needs to upgrade from Windows 7. It is believed that this OS causes the issue to occur. Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft anyways and it is an OLD Operating System. Also I have found that many people that run windows 10 that have this issue are using below the recommended GPU for The Isle. Please upgrade your system before posting here. well thats what i did first, looking for the issue in the "pinned-troubleshooting", tryed it in windowed mode as recommendet, uninstalled and reinstalled it few times, deleted the appdata folder etc. etc.
everything worked fine untill the patch at June 3rd.

Im playing EVRIMA while on vacation and am in spain. Although I understand spanish I really would like to be able to play the isle in english but EVRIMA doesnt seem to have that option. Is there any way to change the language to english?

All i do is log in to a server. whatever i am doing, sitting waiting or flying for example i will just be booted to main menu. when i log back in, i am in the same spot, or if i flew ill have to start over as the bird will have crashed

it takes about one minute from i log in, until i get disconnected to main

sooo there is few sollutions

1. the evirma missing some files, so its one of the problem. The sollution is that to re-install it, and it should be great.
2. Update your os, because sometime files of the game are based on os files, so you need to update
3. try to run that as Administrator, if you are trying to run it as a normal user, sometimes you don't have access to some files

I have been unable to play the EVRIMA version of the game for over a month now since either the 0.7.91 or the 0.7.92 update. The game starts up, goes through that fuzzy little AE screen animation (sound plays), but then black screens immediately after that for 20-40 seconds, and then gives me a “The Isle has stopped working” crash report, forcing me to close the program. This has happened consecutively at least a dozen or so times over the past month. I have read a lot of information on this Discord channel, and followed through with a load of the fixes, including deleting all files and reinstalling, to just simply verifying the integrity of the game cache etc. etc, today I removed all the files, reinstalled the game, and launched it without the EVRIMA beta version and it launched successfully, but after installing the beta, it crashed once again, so it can definitely be traced to EVRIMA, I’m just puzzled as to what I should/could do next, I was hoping loads of other people would have reported it and it would have been hot fixed by now but that’s not the case, so I’m prodding around now to try to fix it so I can get back to playing the game. Can anyone help me?

Update: Deleted all game files in the correct way specified, verified the cache to download the missing 100 odd files, launched game after completion, crashed again after the AE animation finished playing and I was presented with a 15 second black screen.

@thin oracle thats sucks coz i use win7 that forces me to use dx11 instead of my gp that can use dx12. Prolly devs need to manage with microsoft to emplement dx12 support on win7 with the game.

That's not going to happen. Windows discontinued Win 7 support. AKA they took it out back and shot it. Because it's not even safe for your own cyber security anymore. You need to upgrade your OS.
