So, I attempted to get on some servers today, got on once. Later tried to get on again, kept getting kicked (as in full server or something) even though there were 1 or 2 slots open. So, I tried a non stress server, same thing happened. Is it my steam or game?

Those servers are full, it's just not showing that. I like to play on AU servers, I get in really easy. You should try it too. :)) If you can't see them, tick Hide empty, and then they will show. ^^

Not 100% sure this is the right spot for this, but if anyone knows what is causing these grid-like patterns (Nvidia card) pls let me know. Anti-aliasing is off, as it blurs my game to shit for some reason, but changing it doesn't actually affect this weird grid, which remains in place as I move and sort of crosses the screen wherever there's shadowed regions. I can't find any info on it. (You can mostly see it over the leaves there in the middle)

another pic of that weird grid, i've messed with nvidia control panel settings and all ingame settings too. Tag me if you know what it is, pls and ty (as an update, setting taa to medium & enabling nvidia's program-specific sharpening tool has made it tolerable, but it's still there and now the game's a tad blurry. but for anyone else. Apparently it's just dithering as a method to imitate transparency on ex. foliage, and anti-aliasing will help mask it to some extent 😐 )

They are full. Join NA or AU servers, they are pretty good. If you can't see them, click Hide Empty, and then they will show.

At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > TheIsle > delete the "Saved" folder

Hey guys, just joined and haven't got the message uploaded yet. So, I've swapped over to the QA section for Evrima and only see the EU servers. There was one server that only had about 50/75 in, and when I clicked to join, it would kick me back to the opening menu. When I tried to join through steam servers, it would say the server was not responding, so I'm at a bit of a loss on what to do. Any advice from Devs/Staff/Members?

That's because of the sheer amount of users attempting to connect to these servers, resulting in the playercounts not displaying the correct number immediately

Search for TheIsle folder and delete it. It'll regenerate a fresh version when you relaunch the game.

First make sure you have selected the quality assurance branch in your Steam>Beta properties to be able to join the stress test servers.

If you are playing on the QA Branch you can only join the stress test servers.

They get full very quick and the server list can't update that quick, so even if it is 0/100 it might be already full and you get kicked back to the main menu.

Also keep in mind that you are not the only one spamming the join button to get in.

Spacebar in water - Swim upwards.

Ctrl in water - Swim downwards.

Hold RMB when waterwalking (walking on the bed of water sources) - Big lunge. Used to grab targets to drown them. Only effective on targets half your weight or less, otherwise causes you to be staggered.

Hold RMB on land - Small lunge. As above, but doesn't launch as far and costs more stamina.

Tap RMB when swimming - Water boost. Used to rapidly launch yourself to your fastest swimming speed.

Passive - Water Sense. Used for detecting nearby movement in water.

Hold Q while underwater - Enhanced Water Sense. Used to detect movement in water at a further range. The longer the key is held, the further you can sense. In order to use regular scent you must be above the surface of water.

Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.
Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %APPDATA% in there and open your %APPDATA% folder.
At the top you'll see the filepath, click "Appdata" to go back to the actual Appdata folder, then to local > and delete TheIsle folder located there. It'll regenerate a fresh version when you relaunch the game.

I had to do that and it worked for me. 🙂

For 'Content File locked' errors Either restart your PC>Check your firewall settings>Or make sure The Isle is not running in Task manager before starting.
Make sure you do not have mods installed

If you find yourself getting booted back to the menu after attempting to join a stress test server it's likely because the server is full, even if the playercount says otherwise. That's because of the sheer amount of users attempting to connect to these servers, resulting in the playercounts not displaying the correct number immediately

Once you master this mini game you will catch fish very very quickly.

Set the right resolution in your settings + select windowed full screen.

Hello, I have recently downloaded evrima and something weird happens. A welcome message appears and it is really low quality, with a button that says "okay" and behind that is the main menu however the screen is very squashed, I also cannot interact with any buttons. I know that it isn't frozen as on the menu I can see the little clips go by like in the legacy version. Anybody know how to fix this?

First make sure you have selected the quality assurance branch in your Steam>Beta properties to be able to join the stress test servers.

If you are playing on the QA Branch you can only join the stress test servers.

They get full very quick and the server list can't update that quick, so even if it is 0/100 it might be already full and you get kicked back to the main menu.

Also keep in mind that you are not the only one spamming the join button to get in.

Keep trying it until you get in.

The servers get wiped very often during the stress test. If rejoining the server does not solve it, it is gone.

Bulldozer fx 8350, rx 580, 8 gb ram (i know low amount of ram can cause stutters and crashs, but i've done the virtual memory allocate thing on my ssd and disabled it on my hdd, that fixed stutters for me in path of exile for example) also forgot how it's called, been monitoring my ram usage and it doesn't even go past like 60%, so doesn't seen like it's memory issue. Game is on ssd btw

I mean I re installed my game and checked my LAN cable even and re assured everything but once I go in server loading after 15 seconds nothing comes up its just the server loading screen without the " searching for server ".
