I lost my 14H run Prime Rex of 80-85% growth... didn't play in a while, maybe fewweeks of a break.. came back to continue playin on my Rex and went to the server, it said on EU8 that my Rex was " SAFE" and at 100%(obviously still a bug, since i know i was around 80%), but started to join the server, just to be put a fter a short delay into the "select your dino" screen... is it a bug?? Usualy u could fix it by goin out of the server and going back in to RE-Load your dino... now it didn't work... did I lose my progress cuz of some bug?

damn. okay. 5090, 128g ram, ryzen 3990x, can join servers about every 10-20 times i try to connect, when i connect as a PT sometimes once my dino is fully grown, the dino will glitch and be immobile and then i get eaten. This usually occurs after putting 2 hours of work into the dino. Also, i have to find 30 different bank spots to find a place where drinking actually works, also non-jumping dinos get stuck in crags all the time and i have to wait to die of hunger because there's no self-unalive button

this engine/game seems to hate high end hardwares, i've got some people with similar issues with a 3090, 4090, 5080

i told them too disable AMD overclocking, usually comes enabled by default by the mobo

which is honestly strange because even on my beast machine i can barely get over 80fps with dlss on ultra performance

On my end, I’ve already updated Windows and my GPU drivers. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the game after deleting the temp and “theisle” folders, and verified the files. I tried different official servers, but they all seem dead to me. However, I was able to join an unofficial server, and it worked fine.

I can also tell you when the server issue started. I was playing as a Rex—I had died and was egg-hatched back in by a Raptor. The server was about to reboot in 2 minutes. When I logged back in after the reboot, I was still the same Rex with the same energy and in the same spot, so it looked like my save carried over.

After that, I started seeing errors such as “save failed” and “data acquisition failed” on all servers, or servers showing as offline.

Those servers probably lost connection during the reboot and got stuck while trying to launch multiple servers at once. Imagine trying to log into a server with basically infinite ping like that—people already complain when it jumps between 10–120 ms, now imagine something like -1000 or completely broken.

As long as no one is nearby when you run the command, you should be good. Just be careful though—if you’re already stuck in a bad spot and use it, it might restuck you somewhere worse. That happened to me near a cave; I ended up on the roof and lost my dino. So if that’s not the case, just make sure no one is around before running the command.

Don’t give up—try to save your logs if you can, and see if you’re able to submit a support ticket on the official site. It might help. I’m not sure what kind of support they offer, though, since I just joined their Discord today. Theirs also other servers to play. I lost my Rex and Allo, and now I can not even enter a server at all.

If you’re stuck on a rock with no structures nearby, you should be fine using the command since no one is around. But if you’re stuck on or inside a structure, it might glitch you even further into it.

Hopefully an admin can help, or you can submit a ticket to get it resolved. Don’t give up—no harm in trying for a few hours until you know there’s no solution.

Ahh, looks like some servers rebooted. I think I’m able to log into one now after restarting my Evrima game again. PS, if you deleted my .json file, thank you so much. Good luck everyone

Okay so, I’ve been having an issue with secondary attacks. They’ve never worked since I’ve downloaded the game (last year) as far as I can tell. I have manual alt attack on. I have also had it off. I restarted the game several times obviously. Verified file integrity. Tried on multiple servers and different dinos. And my left click + alt attacks do work. I feel like all there’s left to do is uninstall and re-download?

You are using DLSS already which is taking over and already rendering the game in lower resolution.
If you can use DLSS do not bother with the resolution bar. Just go down a DLSS setting. Ultra Performance is already only 37% or so input (so only like 400p at 1080p)

I'm not sure why it doesn't run, been trying for hours to troubleshoot with ChatGPT as I am not too pc savvy. okay, the 5 5600gt uses a pcie 3.0 connection, which is rather limited, so its best to pick a gpu that has x16 lanes or you gonna lose a lot of performance

rtx 3060 12gb is pretty good but depends if there's still people selling it

rtx 4060 can give you a nice performance as well, it has 8x lanes but its pcie gen 4, so not so distant

rx 7600 one of the best cost-benefit nowadays too

so I was having an issue with evrima, when I launch through steam I get told error game running, steam allows you to hit the play button again, the isle never launches, doesn't show up in task manager

I try launching through the exe with admin and get told I've maxxed the total amount of clients open at once, and an error code, I saw that it might be related to drivers and updated them to no avail

it's a crash that happens when the system is unstable

either bios, either windows, either GPU overclocking, high temperature, high voltage, CPU overclocking, XMP memory, etc

well you can't be really sure unless you measure it with HWinfo or MSI afterburner

for other people we fixed it by disabling the PBO of amd CPU, they come enabled by default on strong processors apparently

and for other people it was an issue sigh Intel processor being too strong

downloaded XTU and fixed it by decreasing the core performance -1

you just need to find out where is the instability, cause this is mostly happening to strong pc's
