Shadows have not been a priority, just make sure shadow quality and smoothing is set to epic, and 3d resolution is 100% on top of the usual GPU Driver updates and deleting the games Config to reset all settings

Since the last major update, I can’t really play the game anymore. When I launch The Isle, my CPU instantly goes to 100%, which causes heavy lag, audio glitches, rollback, and overall freezes.
Before that update, I was getting around 30–40 FPS and the game was playable.

The game requires dx12_1 (ultimate), not just the base dx12... that error comes up if you are using just an Integrated GPU, if by chance you are actually using a Dedicated GPU, you need to Update the GPU Driver and Windows 11

Hi. I had an issue with The Isle Evrima.

When selecting Evrima branch, Steam shows the game size as ~7.5 GB,
while Legacy shows ~20.7 GB.

I tried:

• full reinstall
• deleting game folder
• clearing Steam cache

Steam Support said depots are handled by the developers.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this normal for Evrima right now?

When I had Evrima installed, Easy Anti-Cheat was missing.
There was no EAC folder or installer in the game files.

Is EAC supposed to be included automatically with Evrima?

Hello, I haven't played on evrima for a long time, now I went in and tried to connect to the servers, but I have an endless connection to it. This happens with absolutely all servers, the first time I solved this problem was by deleting the config folder from the root folder of the game, but now it doesn't help.

Frustratingly I'm having the same error...

Only catch is.. I've actually already RMA'd my CPU when it failed and immediately installed the BIOS firmware with microcode fix... I've played the Isle since then, a few updates back.. I've just come back after a couple of months and now running into this each time I launch The Isle.

You have to try running that file while the game is completely closed. Restart your pc or end the EasyAntiCheat task in Task Manager, then try running that .exe
