Is there a way to fix the sudden ping spikes all the time? Me and my friends get them on the hordetest all the time and they have basically made it so that combat is a 50/50 chance of if the lag is going to get us killed or not. Our internet is fine and we do play if different parts of the world but no matter what server US, AU, SA, EU we try they all have constant ping spikes from like 50 ping to 300 for absolutely no reason.

could be many many things, but from your end start by making sure your Drivers are up to date and Windows 11 is updated, delete the games config folder to reset all settings (see pinned messages on how), still more you can do, but google is your friend in that case

Theres a big with the psittacosaurus that used to show up when holding a fish as pt. They show up and eat your fish when you drop it after flying for a while but you can't see or attack them. They also no longer show up in the air chasing you for your food.

obviously, verifying your game files can be a simple fix
OR
you can clear your cache data, press WIN + R and put in %localappdata%\TheIsle\ then delete the config, logs, and savedarkslocal
OR
check the branch that its on, make sure it's on the most recent evrima public branch
sometimes even vpns, router settings, etc etc can cause this issue, definitely a trial and error type of thing

Hi, I was playing on EU3 – Hordetesting (official). I got disconnected, and after that no Hordetesting servers appear in the server browser at all. I restarted my PC, verified game files, removed filters, and confirmed I’m on the evrima-hordetesting branch. Normal Evrima servers are visible, but all Hordetesting servers are missing. Is EU3 or the Hordetesting servers currently offline? Thanks.

GPU driver is up to date, and I use windows 10. Plant physics are turned off. Game verified twice, reinstalled once. Lumen off. I'll trey deleting config to see if that does anything, but nothing else has worked so I doubt this will. It sucks because I love this game but the experience is ruined somewhat by glitchy terrible audio. Hasn't stopped me from playing for four days straight, though lol

As audio is very reliant on CPU performance, limit your FPS to a level your system reaches easily (30 or 60fps), see if that helps, updating audio drivers may also help

Tried that as well. No change. I can usually run the game between 50 and 60, even when there are a lot of players around. It's not a performance issue. I've tried troubleshooting every potential problem. It's not a software issue with OS or drivers. It's not a hardware issue with GPU, processing, or headphones. I've literally narrowed it down to being either the Isle itself, or Unreal. The other two UE games I tested, one was fine, and the other was also having really bad performance issues, even on the lowest settings, so not a great test case. I'm worried this is just something I'll have to deal with forever

it's actually possible to install windows 11 on certain unsupported CPUs but I'm not sure why you would need it

one thing is right, the choppy audio is coming from the CPU being stressed, either one of the cores or the CPU as a whole

the fps issues can also come from the processor if it ends up being thermal throttled or stressed too much in a certain region/condition

it's difficult to point the issue without you monitoring it with MSI afterburner or HWinfo

I don't have FPS issues unless I ramp up the graphics to max. Hell, I was able to play Cyberpunk 2077 on high settings, and had the game running at 50 fps average. It's weird that I have The Isle on medium settings and only the audio is broken.

Hi, I’m on EU3 Official (Horde Testing) with a naturally grown full adult Deinosuchus.

I’m currently stuck at ~9.5 tons at 100% growth, and I’m unable to apply my 4th mutation. When I try, I get the error:
“connection cannot be established while the asset is still awake”, even when fully sleeping.

My current mutations are Increased O₂, Increased Swimming Speed, and Increased Digestion. I’ve tried full sleep, relogging while sleeping, and waiting, but the issue persists.

I’m also temporarily infertile, which I assume is related to recent growth/mutation attempts.

Just want to confirm if this is a known Horde Testing / EU server mutation & weight-scaling bug, or if there’s any known workaround. Thanks.

My Evrima client has been having UE5 Fatal Error crashes a lot, and when manually closing the game it stays open and not even task manager can kill it, I need to restart PC. So i've been running into an issue that happened i would like to say right as the Allo update came out on horde, it was right after we got the new UI in the game during the unplayable lag phase but i could still log in back then..

Basically ANY server i join whether it's official or unofficial regardless of ping this issue occurs- I simply get stuck in the loading screen forever. It doesn't crash it just loads and loads and loads RARELY after about 5-10mins of loading it will kick me out but this has only happened like twice every other time it is just stuck in loading. I've done everything from reinstalling the game about 2-3 times ( a 4th time today ), validated game files, deleted config, troubleshooted my network about 2-3 times and changed my DNS and i have had 0 results, it's always the same

If i close the game it wont really shutdown, just steam saying that its still running. If i press stop it doesnt work.
in taskmanager (run as admin and as admin) i cant stop the exe and "TheIsleClient-Win64-Shipping.exe" cant be closed, with no permission.

after searching i found to "Right click The Isle in your Steam library > left click "Reset Game Settings" That should solve your issue. "

So every time I open the game it tells me "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed." Thing is that I have reinstalled the game twice now, both on different disks. I have updated windows 11, and I've restarted my computer, and I have almost 400 hours. Online videos and stuff have told me to go to the files and find "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe", I have all the other things in my Isle files BUT that one and I can't download it no matter what I do.
